Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were understandably nervous about his reappearance in Liberty City, so a trip down south seemed like a good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon his arrival in the glamorous, hedonistic metropolis of Vice City. He gets set up and is left with no money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself.
From the decade of big hair, excess, and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile as Grand Theft Auto returns to the PlayStation2. Vice City is a huge urban sprawl--ranging from the beach to the swamps and from the glitz to the ghetto--and the most varied, complete, and alive digital city ever created. Combining nonlinear gameplay with a character-driven narrative, the game plops you into a town brimming with delights and degradation, where you are given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.
As a major gateway to South America and the Caribbean and for attracting migrants, Vice City is brimming with diverse characters, so there's a friend for everyone. It is a sociable place, and the new guy in town is sure to meet all manner of friendly people in the sunshine capital of America. Athletes, pop stars, real estate developers, politicians, trailer trash--everyone is moving to Vice City to find out what makes it the number one growth city in America. But, as Tommy quickly finds out, trust is still the rarest of commodities.
Vice City offers vehicular pleasures to suit every taste. For the speed enthusiast, there are high-performance cars and motorbikes. For the sporty type, a powerboat or golf cart lets you enjoy the great outdoors. For those needing that sense of freedom and escape, why not charter a helicopter and see the beauty of Vice City from the air?
As all this happens in the party capital of America, you'd expect your ears to be seduced by a host of sultry melodies and pumping beats, but the city is truly rocking. You'll be amazed as you sweep through Vice City's FM dial. If you are feeling like trouble, you can tune into some driving rock, or some crucial electro, or maybe you want to slow down with some sweet soul, and there will always be some great romantic anthems if you want to really take your mind off things. For the action man or outdoors type, there are tons of fun things to do and adventures to be had--guaranteed. For the secretive or creepy type, Vice City is full of surprises, a place where you'll be constantly surprised by the vivacious, fun-loving types who live there and the things you can discover.

My cousin introduced me to GTA III, which I spent almost a whole day (yes, almost 20 hours playing it) for the first time, after that I decided to get a PS2 and got me GTA Vice City. The game is FUN! I don't understand how some people can give this game bad reviews, yes, it has some glitches sometimes, yes, some missions are a pain, and yes, ALL the stuff you have to do to complete the game 100% might be overwhelming at first. But, with all that, this is a game that will keep you occupied for quite a long time, I still play it even though I've done most of the stuff the game requires for the simple fact that it's a good time killer. Why is it so good? Well, you have a great handful of missions, two islands to explore, 100 hidden items to look for, 35 rampages to beat, some races, some RC toy races, insane stunts to complete, taxi missions, ambulance missions, cop missions and even delivering pizza, ha! Vehicles? There's a vast array of those, sports cars, old cars, buses, cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks, SUVs, jeeps, motocycles, 18-wheelers, vans, even the oh so amazing...HELICOPTERS! Weapons? Yes sir, brass knuckles, machetes, knives, cleavers, baseball bats, screw drivers, katanas, clubs, chainsaws, guns, machine guns, mini guns, flame throwers, rocket launchers, SNIPER RIFLES...I may have forgotten others, but seriously, do you need more? Go and get this game, I've seen the USED price and it's more than worth it if you want to come along the GTA bandwagon.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"S***."},"reviewBody":"The product arrived in very good condition. I was between consoles when GTA3 was released, but seeing all the hub-bub, I decided to pick up the new GTA:VC.This game rocks.I graduated from high school in 1986, and this game pays a great homage to that time period. Driving insanely fast in a Lambourghini, doing drive-bys, all while listening to Judas Priest delivers an adrenaline rush like no other game. It's kitschy in the best way.The graphics are okay. I wish there were a bit more interactivity with the environment. I wish you didn't immediately drown whenever you end up in the water. I wish the fighting controls were more responsive (and less frustrating). But the city is huge, there are tons of things to do, and lots of places to explore. The driving controls are pretty great, too. We have't gotten too far, probably only 2% of the game, because my kids (4 and 8) pretty much only want to drive and crash into people and things at full speed, watch them re-spawn, and do it again to watch Lego people go flying. The 4 year old spent half an hour driving the car into a golf putt cup, over and over, laughing the whole time. It's cool how there's an automatic transformation between boat and ground vehicles. It has a very nice world to drive, climb, jump, and crash in, as well as a test course with more jumps and things to hit.I've tried the vehicle builder. It's a bit complicated, but it should be expected, considering the vast catalog of Lego pieces and how to assemble them. I'd give 5 stars, but there are some parts to the builder I feel make it incomplete. First, not all the Lego catalog is available in the game. Understandably, they'd want to limit it to vehicle type pieces, but some you'd find in the actual car sets aren't available. Case in point, I was trying to build the #76908 Lamborghini Countach. First thing, the chassis piece was ever so slightly different, and the wheels/mounts were fixed in place, with the front and back reversed. No way to switch them or the car would look like it's always driving backwards. So, I tried to improvise (I was actually trying to use the construction manual), but ran into not being able to build sections independently, then stick on later. You have to completely build from the chassis out. This made improvising impossible. The last problem before I had to give up was, not all the technic pieces are available. You can't \"fake\" it with non-connected pieces.So, don't set your expectations to construct advanced real world builds. The rest I'll have to explore when the kids go to bed. ;)","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"R*** "},"reviewBody":"Fun to play","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"J***R"},"reviewBody":"Good product.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"S***A"},"reviewBody":"Great game. At a $60 price point (less if you're a prime member) that amounts to $20 a game which is excellent for a trio of fantastic games. (Much like the recent Resident Evil remasters and Uncharted collection)At the time of this review I have completed Bioshock 1 and 2 and have just begun to play Infinite. (I have played all three previously last gen). All I can say so far is...wow. These games are just superb. The first Bioshock is perhaps one of the most iconic video games of all time and let me tell you-there is nothing quite as satisfying in all of video game history as taking out a Big Daddy. Seriously. Nothing else like it.For me personally-Bioshock 1 is still the most memorable of the trio. Its larger than life characters like Andrew Ryan, Atlas, Dr. Suchong, Sander Cohen, Frank Fontaine, etc.-really immersed you into a fully fleshed out under the sea utopian world gone wrong complete with its own pseudo civil war. Plasmids, Gene Tonics and a wide variety of weapons to experiment with just put the icing on the cake. Plus the Art Deco style, political underpinnings and voice recorded messages spirited you away to a place you had never seen before. Rapture was a place filled in equal measure with wonder and danger at every turn.As for Bioshock 2, many consider it to be almost a carbon copy of the original. There are indeed a lot of similarities, but it's still an outstanding game. The creators must've really gotten a lot of good feedback from the kill Big Daddy/save or harvest Little Sister dynamic because they seemed to hedge all their bets on this dynamic for Bioshock 2. Sure, once again it's fun to end a Big Daddy, but this time there are more \"steps\" involved with the Little Sisters if you want to max the amount of Adam you receive. While this is fun at first, after the eleventh time of A) killing Big Daddy, B) tracking down and draining Adam from a dead body while twenty splicers attack you, C) tracking down and draining Adam from a second dead body while another twenty splicers attack you then D) finally escorting little Sister to her hide out then E) Finding another Big Daddy/Little Sister and repeating the whole process over again usually twice more each level-it does get sort of repetitive and tiresome. And yes, Killing Big Sisters is very satisfying too, but near the end of the game the whole things gets to be a sort of grind. And quite frankly-if you take all of this away, the game itself doesn't hold up as well story-wise or objective-wise as Bioshock 1. All of the Big Daddy/Little Sister/Big Sister stuff is really what the game is all about in the end. Everything else is pretty forgettable. Still a great game though.As for Infinite, it's a little less action oriented than the other two though even more story driven. All I can say so far with this remaster since I just started Infinite, is that the moment Booker Dewitt ascends to the sky and Columbia comes into view is nothing short of breath taking. Infinite is so gorgeous that I found myself just stopping by certain areas, leaning up against a railing and watching air ships go by or listening to the barbershop quartet sing. When is the last time in a video game you can say that you stopped to smell the roses? It's that beautiful.All in all-despite a few minor glitches (voice recorders getting hung up for a few seconds on certain syllables in Bioshock 1, slow down in Bioshock Infinite) this is a fantastic collection of three outstanding video games at a really great price. If you're sitting the fence-you really can't pass this up. Rapture and Columbia are two places well worth a revisit. These games still impress me more than most of the current gen stuff. For me, my PS4 for the most part has become a remaster machine. I have not been terribly impressed by any of the brand new game on the system outside of Uncharted 4. (Killzone, Infamous Second Son and several others were all duds in my book) My favorite games on the system are all remasters including DMC, The Uncharted Collection, Tomb Raider, The Last of Us and Resident Evil 1, 4 & 5 and now the Bioshock collection. Not sure what that says about Sony's original games, but I am sure having fun with all the remasters. Dead Space next please.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"V***T"},"reviewBody":"This is the definitive console version of Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite along with all the dlc (minus mulitplayer for Bioshock 2).PSA: if you own the PC version of any of the games on Steam there's a free upgrade so you can get the same experience there. Except for the \"imagining bioshock behind the pitch\" feature with seems to be an exclusive for this collectionThe \"Imagining Bioshock Behind the Pitch\" featurette is basically an interview documentary/ director's commentary on how Bioshock came to be. You do not get the entire feature from the get-go rather you have to collect golden reels hidden in Bioshock 1's campaign. There are 10 golden reels to collect, each containing a ~10min video.Graphical Changes. Every game in this collection has a graphical (1080p) and frame rate (60fps) upgrade. Some more than others, as Bioshock 1 seem to have the star treatment. Bioshock 1 they polish it up really nicely, but still within the confines of the old engine as Rapture doesn't look as good as it does in the Bioshock Infinite DLC: Burial at Sea; making it more of a re-master instead of a re-imagining. Bioshock 2 seems to have a spit shine instead of the star treatment Bioshock 1 has, but still looks good. Bioshock Infinite looks like the PC version at max settings.Story. Bioshock 1 has a really good story of a failed utopia filled with a lot of twist and turns in terms of plot. Bioshock 2 although a good story is not as captivating as the first. Bioshock Infinite is the best out of the 3 with themes of trans-dimensional travel and it's DLC linking all 3 main games together. Some may say Bioshock 1 has the best story, but I say that's mostly nostalgiaGameplay. Gameplay is drastically different in all 3 core games as the jump and/or heal button is re-mapped in all 3 games, which may screw with our muscle memory if you play all 3 games in succession like I did. Bioshock 1 gameplay/controls are very dated and I recommend playing the games in order because of it or you may get frustrated having familiarize yourself with controls of the other two games. Bioshock 2 (after playing 1) is a breath of fresh air as the gameplay is a bit more modernized being more fast, having the ability to use both plasmids and your guns at the same time. Bioshock Infinite gameplay is more refined and fluid as you are now able to ride on rails like you're on a roller coaster during battles.Trophy Hunters. Squad-based turn-based strategy at its finest, the original X-Com games had you split between a strategic world-view, where you intercepted UFOs, controlled your base resources, and performed research and development to help beat back the alien foe, and a tactical mode, where you controlled squads of soldiers on the ground to combat the alien menace. In the new iteration of X-Com, you get still get both of those--just severely simplified versions of them.Don't get me wrong--the game is great, the graphics are gorgeous, and the mechanics accessible. But if you're looking for a polished version of the original series, you won't find it here--not yet, anyway.The Strategic view is over-simplified. You no longer have control over time. You can't skip ahead by days, or let it crawl along at five seconds. You only get one base, which is clever in its design, but remarkably limiting. The Geoscape (The name originally given to the Strategic side of X-Com) consists of research, engineering, and alien scanning. You have your barracks where you can outfit your soldiers, but it's mostly unnecessary as you'll have the option to outfit them before you launch on a tactical mission.This over-simplification is obvious: It's all aimed at the console versions. The less you have to do, the easier it is to control with 8 buttons instead of 108. This is more \"arcade\" than \"strategy.\" Firaxis at least keeps some elements of the original, like having to perform research and build new technology, but the mechanics of those are so simple. You no longer have \"resources,\" like number of usable engineers, or laboratory space, or even time limits.As you progress through the game, you simple recruit more and more engineers and scientists like a bizarre human genius collector, pinned to wall in neat rows. You don't hire or fire individuals anymore. You just buy more soldiers, and they show up a few days later with names.Adding more labs or workshops doesn't have any reasonable benefit. You get a small reduction in time to research or amount of materials used to manufacture, but without the \"space\" resource these facilities originally had, they can largely be left to the wayside.Your tactical missions are limited to six soldiers as well, who gain experience by (obviously) killing aliens and completing missions. However, the experience and ranks are somewhat superficial, as all they do is allow you to pick from one of two perks that the soldier gets (and defines them a class you get no control over). All of your soldiers can become a master-super-elite-dojo squad of the best the world has to offer--and it almost feels like cheating. The original had hard limits on the number of Sergeants you could have to the number of squaddies and rookies. This game just lets everyone be Mr. Badass.I pick on these seemingly minor details because they are one of the reasons that made the game such a classical great in the first place. The sheer amount of strategy--before you even get to combat--made the game the a geeks wet-dream. Now, the strategy is mostly superfluous. There isn't that much technology to research, that much to manufacture, or reason to do half the projects in the first place.When it comes to the tactical screen, this is where most people are going to have their fun, and yet even here--it's a little less tactical than the original. The Original X-Com series' had time-units, a resource for every soldier--that had to be expended with care. It required X amount to move, X amount to shoot, X amount to run away like a sissy so your Captain doesn't get shot and killed. Now, you get 2 time units. 2. TWO. You can move twice, move once and shoot, or shoot once. The Heavy class as a perk that lets you shoot twice, or shoot then move. But for the most part, shooting ends that characters' turn.Again, overly simplified. They did make up for it with some nice touches. Units now have a cover system, and being behind a corner of a wall, for example, grants cover which makes it harder for enemy units to hit you. However, the system is based on dice-rolls, and errant shots don't do any damage to other characters. Back to the original, if you walked into a room and saw two aliens standing side by side, you'd let rip with your auto-fire in the hopes that some stray shots would hit other aliens and kill them (and it was fun to see that happen). In this X-Com, no such tactical options exist. You pick a target--you shoot at the target--and a dice roll determines if you hit it. If you don't the shot doesn't do any damage (even if it *hits* the target in the visual sense!) It's definitely a detraction from the tactical gameplay.But for the most part, the tactical game can be fun--albeit cautious and slow, because you have to manage only two time units, you spend a lot of time not moving your units when you otherwise should and could. And, perhaps the most annoying aspects of the game is how some of the numbers are actually calculated. There are enemies in the game who have perks which no matter what, instill a negative 30% chance of hitting them merely because they're big and scary or similar. You can be standing point-blank to one of these characters, and not hit them because they have an automatic +30 defense.Not to mention, there are a lot of complaints about how the PRNG (Pseudo-random number generator) per-calculates the game per round. Essentially, if you move one of your guys to a spot and try to shoot an alien with an 80% chance to hit, and you miss, reloading your game and doing the exact same action will always yield in a miss. The game saves the PRNG seed every time. So if you tried that move with another soldier also with an 80% chance to hit, he'd miss too. It uses the next number in a series, essentially. So whatever action that needs this PRNG value, will draw that value. It's annoying the say the least, and one of my favorite all-time TBS games, Silent Storm, did not do this. Outcomes were always random.And the computer cheats. Notably in classic and impossible mode, it gets a major buff to its stats. But even on \"easy,\" the alien enemies get a _free move_ anytime you spot them, or they spot you. They automatically get to disperse and move into cover--or as is all too common, in the case of melee units, sprint directly at you--and then take their turn to slaughter half your squad.The game is good. I enjoyed it. I look forward to when it's modded by the community, however, to be what it should have been. It's far from a faithful remake and more of a simplified (console-centric) re-imagining.The Tactical game is actually the only reason I keep playing the game. It's waaaay to short in my opinion, but the tactical game offers a simple TBS fun for short sprints of time. Here is hoping modders bring this game a little closer to history.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"L***E"},"reviewBody":"I first heard about XCOM: Enemy Unknown when reading a coworker's Game Informer; upon first glance, my interest was piqued. I then avidly followed its updates in his magazines with bated breath, my sweaty hands gripping the shiny paper, with glossed-over eyes. And when the release date was set, I anxiously preordered a copy to be delivered on that very date. I haven't been the same since.The cartoony, G.I. Joe look of the troops and the aliens is a fresh breath from the stale \"realistic\" graphics used in too many newer games. And the top-down view is a blast from the past: try it without the 3rd person and action cams for an anachronistic feel and smoother game. And XCOM is accessible for those with older Dual Core CPUs as well as consoles, so the joy can be had by all.Nearly 230 hours of tense, suspenseful, and gratifying enjoyment have passed in the XCOM world, and the Earth has been saved. XCOM has great replay value, not only in the combat missions but in the strategic layer (i.e. base) as well. Which path of tech, equipment, and buildings one chooses makes that single game unique. Not to mention Ironman mode, which is like Diablo's save system - Save & Exit only - with autosave. Unlike games of late, XCOM doesn't hold your hand; and when your guys die, they die.The game's few faults are loss of control when using the grenade/rocket free-aim cam, excessive clipping - plunging the gun into the wall and shooting the critters on the other side - , and unrealistic shots in the 3rd Person and Action cams - he turned east and shot a guy to the north. Also, when I'm focused on a lit square on a higher/lower level and click, the guy often runs to some other square on a lower level; this is exacerbated by entering a large UFO or being near a wall, where I'm forced to rotate the camera to access certain squares.XCOM is a \"time vampire\" and I have heard the term \"XCOM FEVER\"; it will have you hooked like a junkie. From squad customisation to the base layout to satellite placement, not to mention the brutal combat missions, XCOM always forces you to make hard-line decisions. The cosmetic glitches and bugs are acceptable when a game is this fun; besides, they're being worked out in patches as we speak. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is definitely Game of the Year material and deserves nomination in The Best Game of the Decade Awards, if it exists.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"S***S"},"reviewBody":"ADSL回線などはダウンロードにかなりの時間がかかるので値段は高いですがディスク版を選ぶのもありかもしれません。 ,"reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}}]},{"@type":"Product","name":"MLB 2K13 - Xbox 360","url":"/product/1205938","image":"https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91Fkn9Bs6lL.jpg","offers":{"@type":"Offer","price":167658,"priceCurrency":"KRW","availability":"https://schema.org/InStock","hasMerchantReturnPolicy":{"@type":"MerchantReturnPolicy","returnPolicyCountry":"kr","applicableCountry":["kr"],"returnPolicyCategory":"https://schema.org/MerchantReturnFiniteReturnWindow","merchantReturnDays":14,"returnMethod":"https://schema.org/ReturnByMail","returnFees":"https://schema.org/FreeReturn","refundType":"https://schema.org/StoreCreditRefund"}},"description":"MLB 2K13 - Xbox 360","brand":{"@type":"Brand","name":"2k"},"aggregateRating":{"@type":"AggregateRating","ratingValue":"4.5"},"review":[{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"T***T"},"reviewBody":"I recently traded in one of my PS3's (and will probably trade in the other one eventually) for an XBox 360 because I tend to enjoy the XBox games more. However, the one sacrifice for this avid baseball fan is going from \"MLB The Show\" to \"MLB 2K\". I think MLB The Show is great, but it might be a little too good for my skill level because I seem to have a tough time hitting.Hitting does seem a little easier for me in 2K, and I actually enjoy the pitching mechanics better in 2K as well. However, the presentation and animations need polishing. Some of the screens seem cluttered to the point that you aren't sure what you are looking at or why that information is important.I think my two biggest gripes are the base running and the player likenesses. When coming out of the batter's box in The Show, the runner puts his head down and sprints to first. In 2K, the runner throws his head back and jogs to first. It's like he is running with a refrigerator on his back.As far as the player likenesses are concerned, some look good, but many are pretty bad. The Show definitely does a better job in this department.I know that many people are complaining that this game hasn't changed much since last year. Luckily, I didn't have this game last year. However, you would think they could update the head shots. Chris Stewart was traded to the Yankees during the 2012 Spring Training, and he still has his old cap on in his head shot.Even with these problems, I am having a lot of fun with this game. However, for a company that has the MLB exclusive and has done well with their NBA and old NFL games, you would think they would get it right one day. That one day never seems to come, however. It almost seems like they feel their game is good enough, and there is no need for any changes. Let's hope 2K turns things around now that they renewed their contract with MLB.Wishlist: Legends and old stadiums (I haven't seen either yet) and mini games. Iv played already a ton of games in my franchise mode, and to be honest I'm enjoying it. I know it's exactly the same as 2k12, but I loved 2k12. I was hoping for 2k13 to have many new additions and revamped graphics but that's not the case, so I got passed that and just started to enjoy what it is, not what it's not. It's not a great looking game, there may be bugs and exactly the same as 2k12, but we don't have the option to play the show so this is the hand we were dealt. If your a true baseball fan, just get the game.After putting much time into 2k13 I can truly say it is exactly the same as 2k12. Not just similar, with a few upgrades I mean exact. The only new additions in this years copy is new music and roster updates. To prove how exact of a copy this is all players that have a new team this season from free agency or traded all are wearing there old teams hat in there picture. Ichrio Suzuki who has been a Yankee for a while now, still has a mariners hat on. But it's not just him, many other players have old hats on.To me that's just inexcusable and plain lazy,No new game modes or any new gameplay upgrades as well, from all the games I played the players faces all look exact as well from last year.Also 100% of the achievements are the same as 2k12. While the show is the complete package for baseball fanatics I feel the pitcher/hitter interface is boring. This is the biggest part of the game and 2k sports has excelled at this since 2k7. 2k sports pitcher/hitter interface is extremely fun and exciting. The rest of the game of fielding and base running are easy to execute as well. This game is not as hard ad the show and will appeal to casual players and baseball fans looking for a fun baseball game. MLB today and MLB season link ups via the Internet are back and a lot of fun to interact with. The graphic look good, although the show blows this game away in this area. 2k has the best commentary of any sports game out there, I just wish there were more sounds from the stadium. This year there is a post season mode, which is also an addition to the show. One big disappointment in the years games is that I don't see any big changes from last years game in this game or the show. I usually alternate each year between the two games when I purchase, but will rent both before buying. I went with 2k13 this year because one Im a rays fan and two i purchased the excellent MLB the show 2012 last year. Calling on the true patriots of Columbia: For the devoted BioShock collector and fan, the limited Ultimate Songbird Edition features a bounty of high-end memorabilia: a Handyman board game figurine, a Murder of Crows keychain, and a lithograph poster-all designed by the same Irrational Games artists who created BioShock Infinite. It also boasts exclusive in-game gear, a digital soundtrack, and an art book that offers a look at the making of the game’s unique art style. Featuring a breathtakingly detailed statue of the sentinel of Columbia, Songbird, in its own collectible packaging, this edition will have limited availability-there won’t be another like it!
Indebted to the wrong people, and with his life on the line, hired gun Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret.

I have beaten the game on Hard, and am just about done on 1999 mode, and the experience is even better the second time around. Let me say this though, while this game is incredible, game changing, and other positive twenty dollar words, it does have problems. These problems in no way stop it from being the best thing out there, but they are there.You play as Booker Dewitt, an former soldier and ex Pinkerton. To pay off his gambling debts he has been told to \"Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt\". Unfortunately for Mr. Dewitt, \"the girl\" is in the floating city of Columbia, under lock and key. I won't be spoiling anything when I tell you that you do get the girl, Elizabeth, and she is one of the best video game character ever. She is everything a character should be: engaging, likeable, sympathetic, strong, and real. Of course getting to her was easy; the hard part will be getting her out.Bioshock Infinite's story is jaw dropping. It is intelligent, touching, and absolutely heart breaking. it touches on everything from race, class, family, religion, and destiny, without ever being preachy. I won't dare ruin it for you, because now that this game exists it should become mandatory playing for anyone who is even thinking of taking up story telling in a video game. The ending is incredibly powerful, and in a first for me, actually enhances repeat playthroughs.The visuals are gob-smacking for two reasons. Firstly, the game is absolutely gorgeous. I played it on the 360 and apparently the graphics are even better on PC, which I can hardly imagine. Secondly, the art design is breathtaking. Everything in this world is alive. Columbia is an amazing city, full of amazing architecture, that has a style all its own, instead of aping known design. I spent half the game gazing at the incredible detail that went into creating this world. From the posters to the people, everything is bursting with character.The sound design is so amazing, I am actually mentioning the sound design. The music in Bioshock Infinite is perfect, and if you got the Ultimate Songbird Edition you will be able to enjoy it anytime thanks to the digital download. The music perfectly captures the feel of the 1912 setting, with some very cool surprise songs for those who explore.The first Bioshock, while excellent, had very real gameplay issues. Switching between weapons and plasmids was an unnecessary complication, and the unnecessary animation attached to refilling said plasmids was a problem. Bioshock 2 fixed one of these problems by introducing dual wielding, and Bioshock Infinite takes it a step further by eliminating the superfluous \"refill\" animation, perfectly fixing what was broken, with the combat, from the first game.Gameplay in Bioshock Infinite is fast, fluid, and fun. I have to say, I wish the weapons were a little more exciting, but the Vigors more than make up for the rather standard array of armaments. The vigors, Bioshock Infinite's equivalent to plasmids, are wonderfully designed and an absolute blast to use. \"Bucking Bronco\" lifts your foes off the ground, leaving them helpless to your next attack, while \"Charge\" is a wind powered tackle that can send even the heartiest enemy flying. Even better is the fact that you can combine the effects of certain vigors for even more spectacular effects.Throughout the game you will come across containers that hold a random item of clothing, or \"gear\", that enhances Booker in some way. My personal favorites are \"Storm\" which allows you to chain the effects of your vigors, making the combos especially devastating, and \"Urgent Care\" which lowers the recharge time on your shield and hastens the charge time. For those that get the Songbird Edition, you will receive three exclusive pieces of gear: \"Bull Rush\" makes your melee attacks send your foes flying through the air and ideally right off the stage, \"Extra Extra\" gives you cash every time you pick up a voxaphone (Bioshock Infinite's version of audio diaries), and \"Betrayer\" which makes it so the possessed enemies you kill explode damaging those around them. If you purchase the season pass now, you will also receive extra gear, best of which, in my opinion, are the \"Burning Halo\" gear which grants your melee a 70% chance of lighting your opponent on fire, and \"Ammo Advantage\" which allows you to carry 75% more ammo in every one of your weapons clip.Now for the less that perfect parts of the game. The enemy A.I. is, in a word, dumb. The majority of the time they will simply charge you with no concern for their safety. While this certainly makes using your various vigor combinations on them far more enjoyable, I would have preferred more of a challenge. Ironically enough, the other problem is that there a a couple of parts in the game where the difficulty spikes, needlessly. Well into the game, you will have to fight a boss, three separate times. Now, anyone who played through the first Bioshock knows that the final boss there was boring, and unnecessary. Unfortunately the boss in Bioshock Infinite raises the stakes by being equal parts unenjoyable and very frustrating, especially on the higher difficulties.Had this been a single unenjoyable encounter, that would have been an annoyance, and nothing more. The problem lies in the fact that you have to face this boss three separate times, with each encounter becoming more difficult. I have beaten it on hard and 1999 mode, so my complaint isn't that it's too hard, but that it is unnecessary. That brings me right to my biggest problem with the game, which is the final conflict.After the terrible sequence of boss fights, the game kicks into high gear, and delivers one of the most gut tearing, soul wrenching sequences I have ever experienced. The connection that you form with the characters makes the climb to the top of the tower excruciating, but amazing. After all is said and done, you have stormed the enemy fort, so to speak, and are victorious. All that is left is to get the answers that the game has been dangling in front of you like water to a man in the desert. Just as the answers you have been seeking for so long are just in reach, you are forced into a totally unnecessary conflict that has LITERALLY not story value. It happens, out of the blue, and feels very forced. To make it worse, said conflict is, like the boss fight, unnecessarily difficult and in no way enjoyable.The first Bioshock had these same exact problems, so it makes no sense that they should be repeated here. The string of fights against that same boss, and the final conflict both break the flow of the narrative, and only serve to pad the gameplay. If you cut them out of the game, the experience would be stronger for it.Now, for those who purchased the Ultimate Songbird Edition, the selling point was the Songbird Statue that comes with it. On that front, it is well worth it. The statue is beautifully crafted and comes in a well designed box the perfectly showcases it. The add on gear and avatar outfits are nice, the digital soundtrack is well worth it, though a certain song by a quartet in the game is conspicuously absent, the art book is nice, and all the other knick knacks are equally cool. Honestly, if you aren't interested in the statue, I would suggest just getting the regular version of the game.As intensely as I dislike those conflicts, in the end, they are but two very small parts of an otherwise marvelous game. In no way do they change the fact that this is one of, if not the, best game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Bioshock Infinite is the game of the year. It is a leap forward in gaming, and should serve as the blueprint for developers to follow going forward. It is proof that not only can games stand shoulder to shoulder with television, movies, and books but, when executed as masterfully as Bioshock Infinite, they can deliver an experience that no other genre could hope to replicate. I can't say enough wonderful things about Bioshock Infinite. It is a masterpiece and an absolute buy.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"P***P"},"reviewBody":"It's hard to say anything about Bioshock Infinite that hasn't already been said. If you're looking for a regular multiplayer shooter this isn't the game for you. If you're looking for a game that will change everything you think you know about gaming or works of art, this is the game for you. The game examines deep philosophical questions of patriotism, religion and much more. Where the original Bioshock opened the door to the conversation of games being art, Bioshock Infinite solidifies it. Every moment of the game is filled with a great story and likable characters. The gameplay is well balanced between intense shoot outs and serene moments to soak of the atmosphere. While one could argue that the biggest downside is the lack of replayability but the game is just like a great novel where each play unveils a little more. I highly recommend this game to almost any adult gamer. It is an essential title for any video game player, not just of this generation but of all time.The extra content in this game is great. The Handyman figurine has inspired me to purchase the board game while the Murder of Crows vigor key chain is well detailed. The real show stopper is the Song Bird statue. It is a good size and solid quality. The detail is amazing and well worth the price alone. I am always a sucker for game soundtracks so to be included here is a great bonus. The graphics are amazing. The story is intriguing.The BadThis was an awkward result of a drunken evening between a 90's arcade game and an animated film. The game is really linear but doesn't even know what kind of game it is trying to be. Essentially the gameplay is: Story, story, story, BIG ACTION SEQUENCE, story, story, story, rinse, repeat. The badguys are painfully repetitive (I am pretty sure that there are only about 10 various bad guys that you face throughout the game) and the only challenge is that the game throws varying numbers of them at you. Shame on the writers for directly copying the last battle off of Mario Brothers.... Oh, and you can just shut the console off after that fight because they will try to drown you in anime-esque, inter-dimensional philosophy afterwards...The UglyI had my hopes set on this game. I fell for the marketing push and bought the special edition boxed set... I regret that decision. It's also absolutely gorgeous; the bright, rich color palette is a welcome change from Rapture's drabness.That said, this game was kind of a disappointment. It has too many ideas it wants to explore, and ends up feeling very unfocused. The plot feels like it was stitched together through several revisions, so there are many interesting ideas that just sort of go nowhere. The 'vigors', Columbia's equivalent of plasmids from Bioshock, don't really make sense, as they aren't explained or in any way integral to the plot, as plasmids were. Instead, they're just sort if there.The game is also frustratingly short, despite there being a few spots that feel stretched thin. I beat it in two days, playing about 3-5 hours each day.Overall, I'd say the game is worthwhile, but not worth 60+ dollars. If you can rent it via Gamefly or a local video store, definitely check it out; just think carefully before dropping the better half of a hundred bucks on it.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"3.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"D***S"},"reviewBody":"I was waiting for this since it was announced.Pre-ordered the Premium Edition which is not really worth it, IMO.The soundtrack is missing most of the songs I would have wanted & meaningless swag is included.I waited and waited .. and waited, each time the release date was moved.I even scheduled some hard-earned time off to play it once the date was official.I got it on release day, started playing on Wednesday afternoon and beat it (on \"Medium\" difficulty) by lunchtime on Friday.I did every quest and side-quest I could find.So that is problem #1: The game is short.Real short, shorter than Bioshock 2. Very few side-quests.Problem #2: It is more linear than I would have expected from a Bioshock title.I often went back to previous locations (looking for more to do) only to find the location, door, building, whatever was no longer accessible. No more taking the bathysphere back to look for things you missed to get your achievements.You CAN replay previous chapters but that really breaks the whole game immersion for me.Problem #3: This may just be me, but the ending was too predictable.I understand that people are expecting the \"twist\" now but I think they tried too hard.In fact it seems they stretched it out another 5 or 10 minutes when there was no other possible explanation for what was going on. Maybe it is me though. I was looking for it and I read a lot of science, mysteries & science-fiction.Anyway, it is a fun game. I'm going to play it again and I'll probably get the \"Season Pass\" for some extra content.You know, pay another $20 for extra content that should have come WITH the Premium Edition which I ALREADY paid another $20 for...","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"A***R"},"reviewBody":"Bioshock Infinite is without a doubt one of the greatest masterpieces of this console generation. From the moment you first ascend into the flying city of Columbia to the mind-bending ending, the wonders of this game's environment will constantly take your breath away. The plot is astounding, a refreshing change of pace from today's generic shooter market focused primarily around the main character's relationship with a young woman that he has set out to rescue named Elizabeth. The gameplay is suburb with extremely few glitches to ruin the immersion that the developers have so masterfully crafted. In addition, the AI of your companion Elizabeth never ceaces to amaze as she always finds ways to aid you in times you need her most without ever becoming directly involved in your many firefights. I'd give this game a perfect score any day. 10/10 for me.Special Edition Note:While I was disappointed by the physical trinkets that came with the limited edition of this excellent game, the exclusive DLC proved to be a great asset on my play through. The extra gear and upgrades will certainly aid any gamer seeking to conquer the challenge of 1999 Mode.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"J***D"},"reviewBody":"Great Gameplay and amazing story bring back the good things in the beloved bioshock. From the Manufacturer
Play your favorite movies without any wires or other hassles! Modeled to match the sleek design of the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the DVD Remote has all the features of a standard controller plus enhanced DVD capabilities.
Discover even more DVD features with an updated version of the PlayStation 2 DVD driver for use with the DVD Remote Control--Slow Motion, Chapter Program, A=B Repeat, Shuffle, Repeat, and Three-Speed Scan are all accessible at the push of a button, as are all of the basic PlayStation 2 DVD functions such as Audio Track selection, Subtitle display, and Multi-Angle options.
Two new buttons, the \"Open/Close\" button (opens and closes the disk tray from the remote) and the \"Reset\" button (duplicates the function of the Reset button located on the front of the PlayStation 2 console) have been added to the DVD remote design.
Label text for the \"Title\" and \"DVD Menu\" buttons on the old remote has been changed to \"Top Menu\" and \"Menu\" respectively on the new remote. Functionality of these buttons remains unchanged.
The new DVD remote (model SCPH-10420) will not be compatible with PlayStation 2 consoles having model numbers beginning with SCPH-30xxx, SCPH-35xxx, or SCPH-39xxx unless you already have an IR receiver (SCPH-10160). For PlayStation 2 console model numbers SCPH-30001 and SCPH-35001, you will need a copy of the DVD remote control software disc and a Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2).
If you already own the IR receiver (and software disc where necessary), the new remote may offer similar functionality to their old remote control unit. However, the 'Open/Close' and 'Reset' buttons on the new remote will not function.
The IR receiver and software disc will not be available as a stand-alone package or individually.
Additional information:
A Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2) (sold separately) is required to use the DVD remote control with console model numbers SCPH-30001 and SCPH-35001GT.

It turned my ps2 into a DVD player.I needed a DVD player to play Some US region DVDs to teach an English conversation class in japan based on anime. Using the game controller looked really unprofessional and was cumbersome. Now everything works really well. This controller required no set up and could turn on my ps2 from the start. It has buttons for subtitles and Audio and a-b loop button along with the usual menu buttons. For this to work You need a ps2 with a little black infrared window in the front. If you don't have that window this will not work on it's own.I highly recommend this for one reason. My ps2 is not as finicky about DVDs as my other DVD players are. For example I tried to play some burned DVDs on our Toshiba and Magnavox players with no success, but they played on my ps2 without any hassle. The one on the controller is only 2x and you have to hold the button down. The remote adds another one with three speeds that you hit once to use. IMHO, it is worth getting just for this feature.Pros:Adds a much better fast-forward control (preserves the old one too).Makes the standard DVD controls easy to use.Easy to find the power button (visually and tactilely).Cons:No volume/TV control.You have to read the grid of upper buttons to know what they do.Eject does NOT work on the PS2 Slim.No \"Go To\" button (press \"Select\" to reach it from the menu).Neutral:Not designed to be used as a controller, but the buttons will work.Hold one second to restart the PS2; hold 3 seconds to turn it off.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"S***N"},"reviewBody":"Luckily my slim is compatible Will not work on fat deck unless have sensor in ps2 control portItem was opened but not damaged Meaning it was returned and resoldNot happy I got a used remote at full price plus Also lucky Amazon did not deliver My driver throws and kicks every packageLet her know about delivery She came at me with a TAZER police notifiedCan not find a way to report her more","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"1.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"C***D"},"reviewBody":"Works perfect for the Slim 'new' playstation 2 and makes playing DVDs perfectly easy. Improvements to areas such as contact between players and affects on shots, fast breaks, player differentiation particularly in the area of speed, and better passing including manual bounce passes are all worth noting. The addition of \"Signature Skills\" helps to better differentiate individuals beyond just their ratings adding another layer of strategy.The biggest change comes with dribbling moves shifting to the right analog stick. The system is a vast improvement over \"Isomotion\" of the past. It does take some time to get accustomed to and become natural to utilize but the array of moves at a player's disposal is impressive. NBA 2K13 still wouldn't be described as especially accessible to new or inexperienced gamers but the ability to learn and practice in the Training Camp feature is helpful. It just takes time to translate into game situations.Kinect voice command integration, as with other titles that it has debuted in recently, is hit or miss. It's nice to have the option to call out substitutions or make play calls on the fly without having to look down at the controller but whether it actually is less of a nuisance to do so in such a manner is harder to quantify. In a few instances Kinect called timeouts without being prompted to do so...apparently picking up on something the commentary team said.The one area that arguably needs the most attention going forward is rebounding which has proven to be inconsistent and at times frustrating. Other aspects such as not catching passes in stride, catch and shoot responsiveness, and boundary recognition are also identifiable as areas to improve upon. An occasionally disappearing scoreboard (that doesn't return) has been especially troublesome and a patch to fix that should be expected. Despite there always being room for improvement, with all that is right, there is very little reason to complain about the gameplay experience.*MyCareer ModeLast year NBA 2K12's MyPlayer, which is now known as MyCareer, fell into the 'Misses' section of the review. With 2K13 however a number of problems that seriously grinded on the experience have been addressed while the feature set has continued to expand.Teammate AI has been vastly improved along with the CPU's handling of the rosters. MyPlayers start with better ratings and can even go as high as first in the draft...keeping in mind that whatever player was originally selected in that spot in the draft will also be on that team.There are still some issues like the CPU not running plays or being unable to see the art on the court anyway, freezes (one already corrected on the 360 but others have been hit too), any passes being deemed \"bad\" that lead to assists not counting, a still at times frustrating on-court grading system, and poor looking representations of players that is screaming for something along the lines of EA's Game Face feature. For the most part though these things are no where near the severity of what had been wrong in the mode in past iterations.MyCareer continues to offer an admirable cultural experience that comes with off-the-court features. Though things like interviews and GM discussions are stiff and awkward having a style section, contracts that matter (\"VC\"), a number of endorsements, and the new Twitter feature which includes relevant commentary on events from journalists or \"celebrities\", really enhances the emotional attachment to progression through a career. The ability to add \"Signature Skills\" also takes things beyond just numbers for ratings and adds more personality. All-Star Weekend content is also integrated meaning the potential of participating in the Dunk Contest or 3PT Shootout is there, though limited only to those who pre-ordered the game.*Presentation and CommentaryOne of the significant influences to NBA 2K13 comes from Jay-Z's involvement. As executive producer he had input on areas such as the soundtrack, look of the menus, and even some of the game presentation elements. Some will like these touches while other's won't care for them but ultimately they don't really do any harm regardless. At the very least it's different.Commentary is once again excellent and oftentimes provides interesting information or even laughs. Clearly a lot of new audio was recorded and the flow and relevance of it is excellent. A few celebrities can be spotted courtside which is a neat thing to see. The broadcast presentation remains top notch. The graphics this year take a slight step back and the colors are still off for some teams. Loading times are brief and menu responsiveness is crisp.*Online PlayFinally online play is not a huge drag on the NBA 2K series. Neglecting such a huge element of the game over the years - and making excuses like being stuck with Dreamcast servers and code - was unacceptable particularly considering it's increased cultural stature. Online makes an unexpected appearance then in the 'Hits' section despite not being stellar. It's just so improved that it needs to be noted.Instances of lag and disconnects have been limited and connections into games have been much quicker. Considering the initial tracking of online performance was done in release week, which is typically when game's struggle under the pressure of high usage, it was especially encouraging. Games have been smooth and consistent making them exceedingly fun to play.The feature set online is still lacking however. MyPlayer Blacktop is a decent addition but one that isn't terribly compelling and can be boring when playing with random people. Crew mode, a favorite of a vocal contingent, didn't return this year. Even pauses by opponents during games still leave a user sitting around and unable to do anything but wait. Check out the full detailed online impressions here.*Historic and Olympic Teams2K Sports may be phasing out the presence of classic teams and players within NBA 2K but the impressive roster of those available is still worth considering. There is no central mode for them to be used in, and the Dream Team and 2012 Olympic team fall into that same boat, and that is somewhat disappointing. Allen Iverson was the big addition allowing for the 2001 76ers to be the only new historic team for 2K13. A few key names are also missing from various teams while Charles Barkley is only found on the Dream Team. Though there is no real centerpiece for any of these teams, including the complete Dream Team which is great to have, the depth and value of them is still there.With the company minimizing their place in the game, from the cover and marketing to their usefulness within, it's reasonable to expect that this may be the last year that they are a big part of the product or involved at all. Many of the players, including Michael Jordan, were believed to be locked in with three year contracts that would expire after 2K13. The big names of the past and their respective teams helped take the 2K series to a level that many never believed possible. With no competition and the level of regard the game is held at now they may be deemed unnecessary or cost-prohibitive going forward.*All-Star ContentAs far as the Dunk Contest goes 2K received some criticism for adapting a \"Guitar Hero\" concept. Is it far more simplified than past implementations? Yes...but that doesn't mean it's necessarily easy at the same time. The higher difficulty dunks will take a lot of practice and even a bit of luck to pull off. Because of the the action slowing dramatically in order to allow for the process to be completed there isn't a great rhythm to the contest but there is still a sense of satisfaction to completing each dunk and watching some crazy ones play out. The commentary during the All-Star Weekend events is also particularly great.The Three Point Contest is unquestionably the weakest event. There is a distinct lack of responsiveness - though that is somewhat alleviated beginning the shooting process immediately after releasing each shot and manually advancing to the next rack. It still doesn't provide a sense of proper rhythm. The All-Star Game and Rising Stars Challenge are just what one would expect of them. Their integration within MyCareer and Association is where they offer the most value. As of now there is no way to obtain the All-Star Weekend content for those who did not preorder the game.Undesignated*MyTeam ModeThe clone of Ultimate Team from various EA Sports titles, MyTeam, deserves at least some discussion for what it offers but didn't fit well in either the positive or the negative column. Someone like myself who currently doesn't have an emotional investment with one particular team can find a constantly changing and improving roster of players especially compelling. There are plenty of people out there who simply like the team-building aspect regardless. There's a reason why Ultimate Team makes EA hundreds of millions each year and many are shelling out cash now in MyTeam. It's a fun and compelling concept when executed well.The biggest problem with MyTeam however is super-teams have been formed killing the enjoyment of the process for those that want to earn their way through which is what the mode should be designed to reward with a sense of achievement. The matchmaking does no favors by placing teams compiled of backups against those that are stacked say eight deep with All-Stars and legends. Given that this is essentially an online mode - playing offline can earn \"VC\" to spend but has no point otherwise and there is no way to just play exhibition games against friends online - it's a big problem. It is not at all practical to invest the number of hours required to be able to compete with those who are paying their way to star-studded lineups.Aspects such as applying signature skills - which can make the same player perform differently than he would on other teams without that skill or with different skills - and a fluctuating market value of players throughout the season are interesting twists on the mode. Unfortunately there isn't any real incentive to not just buy the best players out there as lower rated ones really aren't all that much cheaper anyway. MyTeam will be fun for those who invest money in it while others who choose not to shell out cash will get quickly discouraged and move on to something else.Negatives*Association/Online AssociationAssociation mode in the NBA 2K series remains one of the better franchise modes out there but a lack of advancement, not just this year but now for several iterations, shouldn't be overlooked as a refresh of some sort is needed. This year Association took a backseat in favor of MyTeam mode. Even the All-Star content being integrated within Association was held back as a preorder incentive. The inability to turn off auto-saves has also frustrated some and no credit in the way of \"VC\" is provided for games completed.Online Association was not ready to be released in 2K12, and while a number of much needed admin controls have been added for 2K13, failing to address concerns like single anonymous vetoes scrapping trades and a number of other confusing elements make the mode a struggle to sustain long term. There is also now a stamina bug that causes players to be drained of energy only minutes into games. A website to tie into 2K13's Online Association has not launched.*Virtual CurrencyThroughout NBA 2K13 is the new economic system that is intended to reward time spent playing 2K13. Unfortunately it is the biggest detractor of enjoyment at the same time. \"VC\" penalizes those who want to play 2K13 organically and in turn dissuades more than it incentivizes.2K Sports has failed to communicate precisely enough how the \"VC\" system works - where it is earned and how much for doing what - and that confusion will play into frustration. Ultimately the currency system is the driving force behind progression in MyCareer mode and team building in MyTeam mode. In MyCareer it can be spent on improving attributes, adding skills, or fashion while MyTeam requires it to purchase players or boosters and maintain the roster.The prices are out of whack however with their true value. There is no reason to spend on expensive clothing or accessories when its better put to use on actually improving a player's attributes or skills. In MyTeam, even on day one, there were super-teams already ruining the experience for people who did not want to pull out their wallet to buy their own and compete. Getting quit on in an online game also means losing some VC earnings and payouts seem to be higher for one-off exhibition or blacktop games than those actually completed in MyPlayer. There is a huge imbalance in how many hours need to be invested to earn the amount of VC, upwards of 20 hours, to get a single All-Star for MyTeam when one could just be bought outright for $6. It just ends up making more sense to pay if that is the goal being worked towards.The way things are set up with \"VC\" is to encourage the purchase of it rather than properly earning it. It even can discourage someone from playing the game the way they want to play it as they'll be forced to choose between spending \"VC\" in one mode or the other - or split it which will mean slower rate of improvement in both.NBA 2K13 is the best all-around basketball video game to date. Where NBA 2K11 delivered a once-in-a-generation type experience that helped to cover up its deficiencies, and NBA 2K12 struggled to do so nearly as well with the lockout having a big impact on early enjoyment, 2K13 is well-rounded and avoids many issues that have plagued the series in the past. Even MyTeam will be fun for some people as will Association mode despite the lack of additions or advancements. Only the \"VC\" system really deserves negative scrutiny.With online play that at least works fairly consistently now, a deep and involving career mode, excellent gameplay and presentation, and the large selection of historic teams plus the Olympic squads, NBA 2K13 has become arguably the best value in all of sports gaming. It's a return to greatness that proves the NBA 2K series has earned its increased stature and not let up in the face of unchallenged success.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"D***D"},"reviewBody":"Wow. Very rarely does a game last me for months and months, but I've been playing this game all the time since November, and really haven't needed any other games since. You would think you would eventually get bored of playing a basketball game after a month or two, but NBA 2K13 brings so many different styles and modes of playing that makes this game endless fun.Quick Games/Online PlayIf you want, you can just play a quick game of a team of your choice vs. a computer team (and choose the difficulty level of that computer). This game does have a learning curve, but you can still pick it and and learn to play at a basic level fairly quickly. If you're tired of the computer, you can play online against a random person, or a friend who owns the game.Association ModeThis is one of my favorite modes. In this mode, you take over a team of your choosing and become the General Manager (and the Coach too, I guess). You can do pretty much everything a team can do in real life (besides maybe relocating to another city or changing the team name and uniforms). This is especially fun if you wanted to know what it's like if Lebron James went to the Knicks, or Lakers, or Celtics, or whatever team you are a fan of. You can make a super team if you want (although if you put ALL the stars on one team, it's not really all that fun. You want some of the stars to be playing elsewhere to make it challenging). To make trades, you offer another team (controlled by a computer) a trade offer (or listen to trade offers from other teams) and can try and work something out. Of course, if you want, you can \"force trades\" meaning that if you want a certain player, you can trade for them against the other teams will. You can also adjust player salaries to make money situation work out. Basically, you can play God of your league. And as a starting player, that's perfectly fine.My CareerThis is a mode I really haven't gotten into (mostly because I find it really difficult, for some reason). But people absolutely love this mode and I can see why. Instead of controlling the entire team, you create your own player. You get your own endorsements. As you play more games, you get more skills and experience. If you keep playing, you can eventually become a Hall of Famer or a Legend. Sounds like a really good idea to me. You can then take that player you've created and play with him online, and compete against other created players.My TeamThis is my favorite mode. Also called \"Road To The Playoffs\", you create your own team of real NBA players (and also NBA Legends such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Byrd, and TONS of others). It takes time to create a good team, as you need to earn Virtual Currency in the game to buy players (the really good players are really expensive). Then, once you've created your team, you can compete online against other people. The more games you win, the more challenging this becomes. You move up in seeds when you win more games. Currently, I'm stuck at the 3 seed, trying to advance to the 2 seed, but it's getting very difficult.There's even more modes than I've described in the game, such as NBA Blacktop where you can play street ball of 1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 3, etc. of players of your choosing. If you play online, you play 3 v 3 with your \"My Player\" that you created. There's so much to do in this game and it's all so fun, it's hard to put this game down. Of course, it's April now, and a new 2k game (NBA 2K14) will come out next November. If you can wait until then, that game will probably be even better. If not, GET THIS GAME!","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"J***."},"reviewBody":"Last review, i bashed Amazon for screwim up my order. The game itself is actually a very fun game but it does has it problems for those who have trouble with internet connection. 2k now has a bunch if new features that include a new element called VIRTUAL CURRENCY. But i want EVERYONE TO NOTE THIS ; If your internet sucks u will nit be able to use the VC. See i was fussin with this game fir 2 days tryna play while logged in ti xbox live bt i kept gettn kickd out after i played rookie showcase for MyCareer. The problem ISNT THE GAME(unless u wanna say the plan fr this feature is the problem), the priblem for me was where i live and the type of internet cinnection i have limits my ability to use Diwnloadablw Cintent, which in this case is VC.Now if you are having this problem like me. What you need to do is go to ur xbox home and disable the internet connection to xbox live. Yiu will stay logged in and still get achievements, but the games Downlodable Content wont be usable. So now instead of VC ull be using skill points again. N if yu want to stay uptodate in rosters everynow n then. U have to go on 2k while connectd to the internet, dwnload the official roster, save it. Then go bak to xbox home disable internet like b4 n load the roster n play.Iknow it seems like alot but once you figure it out. Its no big deal. Hopefully everyone who preorderd got the xtra content and everyone who buys this game has great internet connection so u can get the full features to thjs great game","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}}]},{"@type":"Product","name":"Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gold Edition","url":"/product/182411","image":"https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61E7RiHhbLL.jpg","offers":{"@type":"Offer","price":61053,"priceCurrency":"KRW","availability":"https://schema.org/InStock","hasMerchantReturnPolicy":{"@type":"MerchantReturnPolicy","returnPolicyCountry":"kr","applicableCountry":["kr"],"returnPolicyCategory":"https://schema.org/MerchantReturnFiniteReturnWindow","merchantReturnDays":14,"returnMethod":"https://schema.org/ReturnByMail","returnFees":"https://schema.org/FreeReturn","refundType":"https://schema.org/StoreCreditRefund"}},"description":"Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gold Edition","brand":{"@type":"Brand","name":"2k"},"aggregateRating":{"@type":"AggregateRating","ratingValue":4}}]}}
