I think the fingerboard might be plastic, but the violin is mainly wood. **Q: how do we contact seller if item is faulty? The violin is constantly having to be tuned almost every week after an hours use and the bow is not fit** A: I never had the need to contact the seller. New strings will need tuning very often at the beginning. You can have them tuned in any music shop, or buy a tuner yourself. I have my own tuner and bought better quality strings and it really improved the sound.
