I purchased this ring to use for travel and to wear to work. My real solitaire has gotton banged up over the years, and is much too precious to me, to take the contined abuse. And I just don't feel comfortable wearing it while traveling. However, there is no need to. This ring looks just like my real one! The setting, the sparkle, the clarity - all are just lovely. In a side by side comparison, the only difference is the band on this ring is a little wider than my own. If you are thinking about purchasing this ring, do not hesitate. It will exceed your expectations.

Ok, first things first, this is not a 3 carat ring. When I ordered this one I also ordered a 4 carat solitaire to see which I like best and this is the exact same size as the 4 carat. Second, the prongs on it are what ruins it. I actually love the band on this one as it’s very heavy and believable and the stone is gorgeous, but the prongs stick out like spider legs, they are not tapered at all so it totally cheapens the ring. I’ve included a picture for reference. So to sum it up I would say it’s a beautiful stone (tho bigger than advertised) and a beautiful band but they have got to do something with the prongs.

The band is the perfect width and very solid. The stone is quite large, perhaps due to the cut. If going to wear it with a band I would suggest a simple, elegant one as the “diamond” speaks for itself! It’s beautiful.

UPDATE: I ordered the 1ct version of this and I'm going to keep it. The 1ct is *much* more believable. The setting isn't overly tall or thick and the stone is a more convincing size. I’m torn on whether to give this three or four stars. Depending on what you’re looking for and if you’re as picky as I am, it could go either way. The POSITIVES: It’s a great looking ring for the price! Many silver and CZ rings in this price range cut corners and look obviously fake, but this one is pretty good. - The band is nice and substantial, not thin and chintzy like many fakes. - The setting was polished before the stone was set, which goes a long way to creating a more convincing look! - The metal looks more like platinum than anything I’ve seen so far—many imitation rings are rhodium plated but look too silver to pass as anything but sterling silver. - The prongs are rounded on top, not hacked off at a sharp angle. - The color and cut of the stone look much closer to a real diamond than any other CZ I’ve seen in this size (I’ve purchased about 20 fakes over the years and returned about 80% of them because they looked obviously fake). Having said all that, I’m still returning this ring in exchange for the 1ct version, because the setting is about 2mm higher than it needs to be and the setting itself is too thick. It gives a chunky appearance that doesn’t suit the simple style of the ring which would be elegant, but just barely misses the mark. If the prongs were thinner and the setting were lower I’d probably keep it and wear it through the end of my pregnancy (my fingers are swollen enough that I can’t wear my actual ring set). I’m hoping that the 1ct version sits a little lower than the this one. It really is a great ring and I’m just hoping the smaller stone and setting are more convincing. If you’re used to a tall setting, looking for a beefy solitaire, or those things don’t bother you, this is probably a good ring for you.

I purchased this ring as a travel ring bought a band to go with it as well - the set together looks exactly like MY set. The 6 prongs add to the believability. I get tons of compliments and don't tell a soul they're knock offs - why should I. Love it so much I've taken to wearing it every day - worry free. (I live in NYC and ride the subways) Only one friend knows it's a knock off - and that's because she helped me pick it out. And she's getting one for herself too LOL Highly recommend this ring.

I received my ring today right on time YAY!!!! I love it Oh My Goodness it is beautiful. The band is nice and thick and the 6 prongs make it look like a white gold setting. The stone looks a little bigger than a 2ct I think its 2 1/2 ct I have a 2ct and side by side the stone in this ring is a little bigger or maybe my ring is not really a 2ct HUMMMMMM...….. To me this ring really looks like a real diamond in a 14k setting. I just love it.

This ring is NOT a good quality!! I have never seen sterling, dipped or not, without a 925 stamp. I did test it and it is silver. The stone is one of the worst quality CZs ever! Wanted to return, but my friend wanted it. For a great CZ, only Berricle..
