Cotton Polyester Broadcloth (44/45 Inch) Plain Weave Fabric by The Yard - for Sewing Fashion Apparel, Decor, & More (Black, 5 Yards)

The fabric was nice and soft.

I ordered this fabric because I needed something affordable to make my boys’ Halloween costumes with. This broadcloth was the right price and came in all three colors that I was looking for. It fit my needs perfectly! The colors are true to their descriptions, even if the pictures look weird on the Amazon page. The red, for example, is a true “fire truck” red even though it looks pinkish on Amazon. There is no pink tone in it at all. The Kelly Green matches a Kelly Green baseball cap I had purchased from a different seller almost exactly (you can see them both in the picture) and the Royal Blue looks light blue on Amazon but it’s a true Royal Blue in real life. The fabric itself is lightweight, which is perfect for Halloween costumes since they wear them over their pajamas anyway. It also arrived true to the length that I had ordered (I measured each cut at least three times) and is very easy to work with since it doesn’t fray much, pins smoothly and stitches by hand easily. It also presses nicely and doesn’t wrinkle much when being worn, which is nice when I’m costuming young children. All together a great purchase. I highly recommend it!

This is not the heavier broadcloth that one might expect but for my purpose it works fine. I wanted a soft cotton cloth, well woven, that can be used for lining clothes or to line sewing projects. This fabric is perfect and the color is good. It washes nicely, does not shrink or really even wrinkle.

I bought this fabric to cover my classroom bulletin boards. It is lightweight, silky, sturdy enough for this application, washes well, and machine dries without wrinkling. This is a keeper that will be able to be used again next year. I'll just bind it with Liquid Stitch or zigzag stitch the cut edges to keep it from fraying while being laundered.

So I bought around four yards of this fabric to use for a cosplay of mine, godtier Jake from homestuck to be exact. It's not stretchy and it is slightly thin but it worked well and I just had to be cautious with my measurements. If you want stretchy material or something of more thicker quality I recommend getting more expensive fabric but for the cost, it worked well. I'm buying it again for a cheer outfit, so hey it works for its use.

Feels good and the color is great! I'm using it to restore a quilt. I've never made a quilt. I don't sew, this should be interesting. The pink is the old quilt. It'll be used someway in the new one. Probably between the squares.

The orange is NOT the exact color it advertises in the picture. I ordered this clothe because the deep rustic orange color and silky smooth appearance it shows in the picture, which was exactly what I'm looking for. Instead I received a bright orange fabric that had absolutely no sheen to it. It seemed very cheap and thin too.Look at the pictures i posted to see the difference. I returned it as inaccurate description, and i only received a partial refund. I think they charged me return shipping, which i thought they should cover since it was their bad.

This worked great. I am a teacher, and I used it for a bulletin board at school, so I wasn't too concerned about quality. I was more concerned with price, and this was an inexpensive piece of fabric that hasn't shown any signs of fading or wear. Perfect for my needs.
