### ⭐⭐ outdated, not specifically tailored to teens

I can't see why this book is especially targeting teenagers. The content follows the standard way of introducing HTML elements and features, one by one. But why should teens care about forms for example? There are better, more modern and more goal oriented introductions to HTMLs out there. The book is pretty old and references tools no-one is using today.

The book is easy to read and successfully conveys its content. Unfortunately, much of that content was not considered "best practices" when it was written (2004) and is definitely BAD design now. It teaches font tags and tables instead of CSS. Someone learning web design today should buy a newer book.
