These are perfect for fishing. They not only work as pliers but also have a line cutter, lead weight smoosher and the hook on the end is very useful for torquing the hook out of a catfish. I won't go fishing without these. The landyard is a nice touch too, especially if you're fishing from a boat, float or in a river with waders. That way you can't drop them in the water and lose them.

This fishing pliers is great. Everything I could ask for and the carrying case is a huge plus. I have used it ice fishing several times since I purchased it, and the line cutter at the bottom of the mouth of the pliers is a huge bonus. The slotted clamp for sinkers is also a huge plus. Lastly, the pliers are not at all bulky so seeing your hooks or lure in a fish's mouth is easy!

This is the typical run of the mill aluminum fishing pliers. They are spring loaded to keep the jaws open. The line cutter works great for braided line. They are very light in the hand but actually feel decently well made. So far I’ve not had any rust and the jaws have a close to perfect alignment with no flex when twisting a hook out. For the price this is a good set to keep in your box. Is it the best set out there? No.. but do you really need the best set out there? If your not running a charter boat day in and day out then these should do 99% of us just fine.

These things look great, feel great, and operate pretty well. I like the blue and aluminum colors match together it matches my car and my gear so that initially was what drew me into this item. The Pliers are nice and Light they function very well. My husband received these pliers as a christmas gift and he loves them! They are very well built and has a nice heft to them. My husband loves that they come with a lanyard because it really helps to keep them from falling into the water. They are super Sharpe no problem cutting braided line. Definitely a recommendation from a fisherman!

This pair of pliers are the best I've used and are so inexpensive. The cutters are great, so is their positioning. Because they're on the outside, you never mistakenly put a hook or wire leader I the cutters, ruining them. They cut evenly and are super sharp.The pliers themselves are really well built. They open perfectly as well. Most pliers are spring loaded and open way too far. If you're trying to use them one hand it comes a struggle. These open just enough that they're perfect for single hand use. Will buy another 2 pairs for all my tackle boxes setups.

I fished hard for the past two days, Tog fishing. And anyone who Togs (blackfishing) knows you are tying and cutting leader and braid a lot. These pliers were great so far. I really like the dehooker tip on the pliers . And the cutters cut braid like butter. I will definitely be ordering a few pairs for Christmas presents. I have used these almost daily since I purchased them. They are good at cutting line and removing hooks. I have used them to remove hooks from lures as they come with a ring splitter tip. They are not suitable to split small rings but I knew that based on the size when I ordered. They seem durable and I should own them for a very long time.
