The jacket does have a small pocket with a zipper on the left arm which is not shown in the picture. The side pockets close with a flap and are very spacious. The jacket is made of a different material than what it appears to be in the picture. It is made out of a windbreaker kind of fabric that makes a lot of noise when you move and may look a little bunchy at times. The jacket is pretty light. Overall a good purchase for the price.
