The plant arrived in perfect condition. It's very tall and bushy and looks very healthy. I would recommend transplanting it into a larger pot immediately upon receiving it. It will quickly outgrow any mid-size pot. It will make a beautiful floor plant as it gets taller. I can't wait to see that. It seems relatively easy to maintain requiring watering only once a week.

I really didn't have high hopes for a plant that traveled through the mail, but I was blown away when this parlor palm arrived. I even waited months before writing this review, because it can take 45 days for the leaves of a palm to begin to show any signs of struggle even after it has already begun. This is one of the healthiest plants I have ever purchased. It was lush, green, and just very beautiful. I plan to buy more as gifts. I would happily recommend to others. Note: These palms don't require much water. However, the pot is very small and the plant was sucking down as much as it could get. I ended up watering every other day for the first couple months, and ended up with great results.

Plant is beautiful and healthy. BUT UPS delivered it on a very cold day here in missouri, plant was very cold, removed packaging put a grow light about 4 feet away, hoping it would survive. American Plant Exchange has amazingly beautiful healthy plants. My second plant from them, both gorgeous.

This is the most lovely palm plant I have ever had! Especially for the money!! It's so easy to grow as I have had these in the past but had to leave them behind when I moved. I was so glad I had a gift card to buy this! It's so healthy and luscious that I will always buy from this company! It would make a beautiful gift, for yourself or someone else. You won't go wrong with this company. I just moved and haven't repotted it yet, but will snap a pic. My house is still crazy cause I just moved yesterday. Excuse the mess. Just look at the gorgeous plant! Buy it! You won't be sorry!

I am hesitant to buy plants online, because of bad experiences on both this site and another site where I bought plants. They either died within a week or 2, were so tiny you practically need a magnifying glass to see them or were infested with fungus gnats! But not this one! I purchased the Parlor Palm, and it is doing great! I always keep the flat sticky bug-catcher papers that I buy from Amazon around to test for fungus gnats when I buy a new plant. I just peel the paper from one side and lay on the pot over the dirt in a free space. There were no gnats on the paper after a week, and the plant stayed perfectly healthy while transitioning to its new home. I repotted it and it is doing great. It is showing signs of new growth. I purchased it a few weeks ago, but wanted to wait to see how it did before writing a review. I will definitely buy more plants from this company!

It came in a box and I could tell that it was handled with care and they took very good care of this plant. I am very impressed that it came this nice being shipped to me in my home. Thank you to this company for being trustworthy and preparing for these plants so diligently!! I am very happy and I'm going to spread the word!!

Came sick the first time so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and bought a second despite how fast it died. My other plants that were in the near vicinity also became infected with the same disease shortly after its arrival. Second time had same exact issue and died in about the same time. In general I find buying plants on Amazon is not a good idea for this reason.
