Works great in Zone 9 areas where the sun is brutal and the heat is harsh on plants. This protects and shades perfectly! The grommets have held up after 2 seasons of rain and high winds.

I live in an apartment that gets hit by the sun directly during the hottest part of the day, turning my home into an oven (literally becomes hotter inside than outside). My portable AC doesn’t stand a chance in cooling the place down. I bought these cloths given the reported 90% sunblock hoping it would at least lessen the amount of heat coming in during the late afternoon. IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in temperature. Easy to hang up, the perfect size, and it’s sheer enough that I (and my security camera) can still see what’s going on in front of the apartment, but at the same time offers a bit more privacy. Great price given the quality of the item. Highly recommend if you’re in a similar situation!

I needed an odd size sun shade to put over the pool filter. This was a perfect size. I am taking away a star because it has a loose weave which. This fabric is much flimsier than other sun shades I have owned. I am hoping it will filter the sun sufficently. The gromets seem strong and the sown border looks strong.

Our dog tore is Cruciate (ACL) and as result is on kennel rest. We have a dog run on the side of our house that worked out for him to be kenneled in for the recovery period. It needed some shade, so I purchased this shade cloth. We have had a few storms come through since it was installed and it has weathered the storms better than a blue tarp that we had used in a similar situation years ago when he was a puppy. I split a piece of drain tile to protect the shade cloth from the top of the chain link fence and used small bungie cords to fasten it to the fence. A couple of carabiners and eye bolts on the house side of things. We are over a month into summer and this cloth is holding up well.

Just received this item. Seems durable enough to last one season however not durable enough to last more - havent tested it yet so not sure. It is pretty dark though - so I am happy that the sheerness is less than others available. I also like that it has sewn on grommets to hang. The plastic sewn on to hold the grommets is a little flimsy which over time (weather and sun exposure) is why I think it may not hold up as long. Perfect size for our dog pen, which is where we are going to put this up.

I had issues when the sunset the heat bearing down on the storm door was also beaming down on my wooden door to the point, that when you touched the door it was hot. The wood panels were beginning to shift showing where it was stained and where it was. I ordered this with the hopes that it would help and I put it up, attaching it to the brick on my porch and it has made a drastic difference. Now, I can open my front door; allowing the light from the sunshine to come in but at the same time, leaving the intense heat out. It has made me smile because I also purchased a vibrant wreath and I am assured it will not fade due to the sun's rays as well. Very satisfied.
