Easy install in rafter spaces. *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2013* Used this on the underside of our attic to combat solar gain issues (also have subsequently installed reflective shingles). Made an immediate change in the solar gain inside the attic. The thermostat controlled gable fan turns on roughly half as frequently and runs shorter. Without formal measurements, I'd venture to say that with our full sun exposed roof, installing this on the underside cooled the attic close to10 degrees immediately. I liked how this could be installed between rafters (16" on center) with some flexibility. I was able to pop them in with a certain amount of "bowing" away from the roof and keep a nice air channel / baffle with a gap at the base and at the top. IF you have long rafter bays, you may need to install multiple ones in a single bay...but that should be clear from specs.
