In my strength training journey, I found myself needing some incremental weight increases. I can't jump from 6 pounds to 10 pounds just like that! But trying to find the 7-pound size, in a nice neutral, attractive color was almost impossible. I saw some gorgeous creme-colored weights like this on the Pottery Barn website, but they were sold out and over $70 a pair! So when I saw these, I jumped at them. Here's my experience: 1. The color on this product page is not accurate. As many have said, these are a lovely creme color, very classy looking. 2. The packaging was very sturdy, with the weights wrapped securely in tiny bubble wrap in a sealed box, which was then placed in an Amazon box for double protection. They arrived in perfect condition. 3. The neck size (where you put your hand) is comparable to my other Target/All in Motion neoprene weights (see photo). The light green ones to the left are 6-pound and the blue ones to the right are 10. My hands are fairly large with long fingers, but the width should work for most people. 4. They had a very slight neoprene odor when I first unwrapped them (they were "cooking" in the Amazon truck!) but I washed them off with some mild unscented dish soap and cool water (which you should always do with hand weights of any kind), and they are scentless now. Super pleased with this purchase, especially considering the price and that they are, IMO the same quality as Pottery Barn. Happy lifting!

Love these 5 pound weights.That's a good little workout when I'm writing my bike or just sitting around doing nothing.I have a chance to work out my arms.I highly recommend not too heavy.Not too late

Very solid workout for your arms with high reps- not getting bulky, just nice toning. They feel comfortable in your hands, require no assembly, have no odor, and the functionality is brilliant 👏. The green 💚 color is motivating and peaceful — such a nice touch. We bought ours on sale and are already looking to get another set! Worth every cent. Treat yourself, or they make a really nice gift — perfect in a cute gift basket or as a thoughtful present.

The cover holds up well and keeps from getting cold to touch even when stored in garage cool temperatures:). Also this type of cover makes it easier when staking on top of each other as it helps grip against the other weights.
