These "laces" are such a great idea! My 9 year old daughter knows how to tie her shoes, but the laces always come undone during the day and her tying them every morning can take awhile, so I decided to get these for her tennis shoes. Now she can easily slip her shoes on and the laces don't come untied! I love that the laces are embossed to look like real laces, and the material makes them easy to clean, too. My only complaint is that they were a bit difficult to put in, especially in the first few holes near the toe part of the shoe. It got easier as I moved up the shoe, maybe because the holes are a bit bigger? Overall I'm very happy with these and would definitely recommend them!

First I would like to mention that I bought these No Tie Shoelaces at full price with my own money. I did NOT get a discount or get them for free. This is my own review based on my experience only. I bought these No Tie Shoelaces 6 pack for my 7 year old son who still has some trouble tying his shoes. The sneakers with straps instead of laces are getting kind of hard to find in his size 2 & 3 plus some kids made fun of him at school for still wearing those kind of shoes so now he doesn't want to wear them anymore. POSITIVES: 1. First, I really like that they are silicone elastic and not made of plastic like some others on Amazon. This means that when he pulls the shoes on, the shoelaces stretch to accommodate his foot and then retract back to their normal size. This keeps them snug on his feet at all times especially when running. They are not too tight, just perfect. 2. Because they're made of silicone, they are very easy to clean. My son came home from school after running through the mud at recess and when I saw his muddy shoes and brand new white (now brownish) shoelaces I cringed. But all I had to do was wipe them with a wet wipe and they were perfectly white again. Took me far longer to clean the shoes. 3. They actually look like real shoelaces with a pattern on them and everything so my son really loves them since no one makes any fun of him anymore. 4. The shoes are now very easy for my son to put on and taken off by himself without any help from us. He loves this. NEGATIVES: 1. Only thing that might (or might not) be a negative is that the laces are a bit hard to put in the shoes. Took me about 10 minutes total while mainly watching the Animal Planet on TV. Although I should mention that if they were easy to put in, they would also come out just as fast. Once in my son's shoes, they have not accidentally come out by themselves at all. This includes him running, skipping, yanking the shoes off and quickly putting then back on etc. My brother mentioned that his son's teacher actually asked him if possible to buy shoes without shoelaces for his kid since she has to re-tie them a few times a day. I bought him the same 6 pack of no tie shoelaces and his son's teacher is happier than anyone now. I would gladly buy these again and recommend them to others. UPDATE: So it's been about 8 or 9 months since I bought these shoelaces for my son and they're still going strong. The laces still look brand new. He actually outgrew 2 pairs of his shoes in the meantime so I took the laces from those shoes and put them in his new ones. Back in business. Still highly recommend them.

I love the idea of these since my husband has hip problems and it's difficult for him to bend over to tie his shoes sometimes. It's kind of slim pickings to find actual attractive shoes that dont have ties so these are perfect to change over his laces shoes to slip ons! The only problem I have is they are pretty large. I'd prefer if they were all the sizes of the 3 smallest ones and no bigger really. It makes it easy to slide your foot in at the sizes they give you, but they do feel slightly loose when you are walking. Maybe have options to buy specific sizes? Overall great idea and good value. I yanked on them quite a bit to figure them out and none of them broke so good quality too!

These are meant for shoes with big lace openings, like chucks. But I was determined to make them fit in these new balance shoes. I took a Phillips head screw driver and put it all the way through the lace hole from the inside going out. Worked like a charm. It still took a little work and my fingers hurt after doing two pairs of shoes, but definitely worth it in the long run. I thought for sure I’d snap the little part you pull on, but none of them broke. Very well made!

My son wears size 11/12 toddler shoes. He was getting frustrated at daycare because his regular shoe laces kept coming undone, so I thought these would help. Each set comes with 6 sets of laces. Approximate size of each lace NOT including the end tabs: 4 cm, 4.4 cm, 4.8 cm, 5.3 cm, 5.6 cm, 6 cm. Total approximate size: 4.8 cm, 5.2 cm, 5.6 cm, 6 cm, 6.4 cm, 6.8 cm. To get them to fit, we had to criss-cross the ties. I installed them onto his shoes that had cloth loops. A week or two later, one of the shoe's cloth loops tore off, making the shoes unusable. So I highly discourage using these shoe laces with cloth loops. Then I tried to install them onto shoes with holes. I tried pushing and pulling the ties through the tiny holes with no luck. So I started using the pointy end of a pen cap to help push them through the tiny holes. I ended up poking a hole through one of the shoe laces and ripped one of the ends off of another. Thankfully there was plenty of extra shoe laces. Next time I try installing these, I will be using one of my small crochet hooks to try and pull them through. My son loves his new brightly colored shoe laces; they fit well on his tiny shoes. He likes that he can put his shoes on all by himself. But I had to take 2 stars off, one because a cloth lace loop tore off one of his shoe and another for difficulty of installation on tiny shoes.

I purchased these for my five year old. She is still learning to tie her shoes, but the shoes I bought as her daily school shoes are really bad about coming undone even when I tie them in a double knot. Her teacher constantly has to retie them and when I pick her up they are untied. She wears a size 10.5 in toddlers, and I used the very bottom 4 pieces. These things are a pain to install... but I guess that's good so I know they won't come out. The ends are tougher than I expected. I had to pull the ends and really stretch them to get them through the small cloth hole and they didn't rip. I accidentally put the wrong size in one shoe and it was VERY difficult to remove. As long as you're patient and have something to help push the silicone end through the hole (I used the point of a fork) you'll be okay. Installation may have just been difficult because of her type of shoe. I had to help her put them on but she wore them all day and said they didn't squeeze her feet and they were comfortable. No having to tie her shoes and no tripping over untied laces! I will be keeping these on her shoes for a while. My 10 year old that hates tying his shoes asked for a pair for his too. The difficult installation is worth it!

This is exactly what I was looking for, they fit perfectly for my 12yo daughter's shoes, I got the kid size even though she wears a women's size 6, they even provided 1 extra row. You do have to thread them through the holes and pay attention to how they are packed as to the rough side on top. Didn't take but probably 10 minutes for both shoes and they fit nicely, not to tight, but not loose either. We will definitely enjoy these for her current shoes and will probably trade them out on the next pair at least. They are rubber so they don't slide around and will stay clean, we bought the blue ones and the color was exactly how they looked on-line. I would certainly recommend this product, I am very pleased, no more untied shoe laces, GENIUS!!!

These shoelaces are great! My 6 year old is not quite ready to tie his shoes just yet and these became a life saver. They are extremely durable, easy to clean and makes it easier for my son to use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to how hard these are to get into the shoe hole, especially if the shoes do not have the metal eye hole around it and they are even harder to get out lol. My fingers were hurting from attempting to remove them (only to adjust for the proper length of the laces) that I had to have my husband do it. Otherwise these are great investment if your little one isn’t ready to tie their shoes yet.
