I love this thing!
I bought it specifically to practice for a gig when i went on vacation. Super compact, and sounds great, especially with an in ear pocket amp. Didn’t have to wake up the house. But it has been my go to bass more than any other when I need to learn a new song. I hang it on a wall hook by the bed and can practice as long or short as i need, as it’s quite comfortable to play. Then it stores easily outta the way. I even used it for an acoustic show and it sounded great. Best value for my usage I’ve ever had.

Compact, light, good build quality, sounds great
I love this thing. I am learning to play and my space is a little cramped. Plus I am clumsy and bump things a lot. This thing is really small and light. It sounds great. No issues. I am more inclined to practice keeping it next to my PC as it takes very little space.

Perfect for use when traveling
This travel bass is perfect for use when traveling extensively. I used to bring along a full size bass and small amp, but that became unmanageable. This bass takes up far less room and still enables me to practice and play my favorite songs. I’m not looking for perfect tone from it. I just need to be able to play, and this works well for that purpose. It doesn’t sound bad. Combined with a pocket amp and some ear buds and I have a wonderfully portable option for bringing a bass anywhere across the country with little notice. 5 stars for that.

Stay Tuned Folks
The guitar would not stay tuned and was surprisingly hard to play. Wide neck and not Acoustic Electric as advertised. Electric only and has tuning problems. The size was great, that part was great.

Absolutely buy this bass
Pros: -Works great with pocket amps -Very conveniently sized to take and play anywhere -Closed-in design so you don't have to worry about smacking your tuning keys into anything -Sounds great right out of the box -Good quality (guitar and travel bag) Cons: -the single pickup for the guitar is really sensitive (easy fix: tone down your treble and mid levels on your amp) -didn't come with a guitar strap All in all, I received the bass three days previous to writing this review and it has been perfect. Whether you're new to the instrument or a seasoned musician, this bass is a blast to play with.

light as a feather
Very lightweight which is nice, and compact. Strings are a little close together, so this takes some getting used to. Sound quality is okay. My fellow musicians seem to really like it.

Great for Air Travel
I took a chance on this guitar for practice on my business trips. With a Vox mini-amp, I found the piezo pickup too bright, picking up a lot of string noise and having to turn the tone all the way down to zero on the amp for my ears. Changing the round wound strings to Thomastik-Infeld JF344 Long Scale Flat Wound strings made a significant difference in reducing string noise, as well as more flexibility with the tone control on the amp. I am able to get an acceptable bright tone at 5, with room to turn it down for an even softer sound. Intonation was a little sharp at first, but after more playing time, it seems to have settled in to near perfect. It also developed more consistency in holding the tuning from day to day. The weight balance was a little tricky at first, but I managed to find the sweet spot for seated play with no neck dive in the traditional playing position. At this size, I find that it travels well in the overhead compartments on commercial airlines, fitting in the space above the carry luggage on a full flight with an Airbus A320. The guitar bag does it’s job for carrying around the airport, with the accessory pouch also holding a set of earbuds, the Vox mini-amp, and a small bluetooth receiver for playing along with music from my phone. On the last leg of a trip, the output stopped working. I noticed that the output jack was loose and rotated in place. Upon arriving at home and removing the access panel to the jack, one of the wire leads to the piezo appeared to have broken off the lead to the jack. A simple re-soldering fixed the problem, along with a little tightening of the nut with a pair of needle nose pliers. Overall, I think it’s great for air travel when you want to travel as light as possible and still keep practicing.
