Most do not ship to Canada; this one does.I wanted something that would not require electricity in order to remove danger of people tripping over cords when on public display. This one has the option of battery or electricity. I haven't tried the battery yet but the electrical option does work. It is quite noisy but I don't think that will be an issue in most places that I will be using it.I also need it to be able to handle a fair amount of weight. It claims to handle up to 2.5 kg and I haven't weighed the items I have tried on it but I think that is very optimistic. It does get quieter and rotates more slowly with more weight so I think there is a "sweet spot" for the ideal weight.The turntable did not come with instructions so we had to figure out for ourselves how to put it together and how to adjust the direction and speed. The design is quite clever.
