But it does in fact fit perfectly, like it was made for this model.I happen to like the fact that it does not extend all the way to the ground, so the grass under my smoker will still get some sunshine and not die. Also, the material feels more like a canvas tent, and the water rolls off it without soaking in. Most smoker covers have a plasticky coating that gets hard and crunchy after a few months, and starts cracking open. I have only had this for two weeks, but it feels like it will stay soft and flexible for a long time and not crack. I would buy this cover again.Follow-up:Two and a half years later, and the cover is still soft and flexible like canvas. Only one small tear, and that may have been damage from hitting my bushes. I bought another cover for my other grill about the same time, and it is hard and crunchy and has about 20 tears in it and has to be replaced. It's not thin. I had to adjust it around some pretty sharp edges on my grill & it did not snag or rip. It looks like it will last years. It's like a heavy almost denim-like material but water proof. Worth the money. I just wish it was longer & covered the pit to the ground. It also has a velcro strap to hold it in place on windy days.
