I have been using Pompeian olive oil for quite some time and decided to try this mild-tasting olive oil after reading that it might be better for sautéing, especially at higher temperatures in my cast-iron pan. It had a pleasant smell and a light flavor, being of the same high quality that I have always expected from the brand. It did a great job cooking without overheating and seemed very heat-tolerant, giving me the benefits of healthier cooking and great flavor.

I grew up in a family which owns olive orchards so I am used to using and eating a lot of oil. I love the test of this oil because it is softer than the extra virgin oil and it is not overwhelming. It is great when eaten fresh with Salads, or garlic dip and also it is great for cooking and does not smoke a lot. I usually do not write reviews but I wanted to give a shout to this product and I like the price on Amazon as well.

Nice flavor

We all use olive oil. I use a lot of olive oil... This is a very large bottle. It is going to last me a long time. It has a noticeably softer taste, which is good, since i don't like the overwhelming taste some olive oil has. If that sounds good to you, grab a bottle and you will be happy for a while, at least until it runs out and you have to buy it again. Its a little expensive, but its cheaper than buying a lot of little bottles, so if you go through a lot of olive oil like i do, do yourself a favor and grab yourself one of these bad boys. The only con i can think of is the weird looks your friends might give you if they see this massive bottle of olive oil on your counter. It seriously looks like a bottle of something you are about to pour into your car.

Great olive oil that is not overpowering with the olive taste!
