The Ansmann AA Max 2500mAh will give you plenty of power on a single charge, they’re really impressive, Earning them a Best Buy recommendation from Which. They also last for a great number of cycles before they drop down to 80%. That said, they’re still good for long-term use. It’s also worth noting they’re only average at retaining charge when you’re not using them. That said they are good for long-term use and a really impressive battery life on a single charge. I would recommend & buy again. Initially rechargeable batteries are more expensive than normal batteries, but long term will save you money - a worthwhile investment.

I bought these because the last batch I bought have lasted extremely well in my DAB radio supporting a recommendation from a consumer organisation. I was a bit alarmed when the radio died as soon as I put the new batteries in. They were completely run down and my battery charger struggled to even recharge (I’ve since replaced the recharger). Having at last managed to get them charged up fully, the new batteries are performing well. So it looks like this story will end well. But batteries should work straight out of the packet.

I have a dozen or more of these now and they are just like having high quality alkaline batteries but you can recharge them. I use them in kids toys which get left in a cupboard for months between being used and for camera flash which has quite a high drain. They have performed flawlessly in both cases. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Have had these nearly a year now and they have been very good for the price. Would recommend them.

I bought these batteries as they are suitable for my radio and should have a long life. I will let you know in a year or so, if they live up to this! They are certainly working well at present.

Disliked as once charged these batteries were ever so slightly too chubby to fit into an Apple keyboard. The coating gets screamed and if I pushed them in I’d never get them out. Real pain as they fit inside everything else built to take them. The Apple keyboard battery ‘tube’ is just machined in such as way the tolerance is too low to accept. Oh well. I’ll have to use in other items and simply swap the batteries over.

One of the four batteries did not hold its charge like the others, so for a radio which required 4 batteries, the life was quite short, but have bought replacements, which perform well.

WHO KNEW THAT AA BATTERIES CAN BE SUCH DIFFERENT SIZES? I found that once they had been unwittingly squeezed into the battery compartment of my automatic jar opener device, I could not get the battery cover back on because they were too long and they were so tight it was a minor miracle that I eventually got them out again....what a complete disaster. These super-duper but ultimately bloomin’ useless-to-me batteries are 49.41mm (main body), 50.5mm (total length) and 14.35mm (diameter). Since purchasing these I have learned that AA batteries can be between 49.2 - 50.5mm long (including the button terminal); 13.5 - 14.5mm diameter; the terminal button should be a minimum 1mm high (no maximum) and therefore the main body could be any length to a maximum of 49.5mm. I can’t possibly comment on the performance as I can’t use them (hopefully I will be able to commission them for something else). I have to give a rating and am therefore giving them 1 star. Although this seems a little unfair, if you are like me, you will check over the negative comments before buying and I can draw your attention to the vagaries of AA battery sizes so you can measure your old ones before you buy these. Not to mention the unfairness of buying pricey batteries to find they don't bloomin well fit.

Buenas pilas recargables. Yo las utilizo con un GPS y la duracion es muy buena. Habra que ver la duración de las recargas.

Capacidad real de 2500 mAh, y gran retención de la carga a un precio inferior al de otras pilas que no cumplen las expectativas. Me gustó su precio, que se puedan cargar unas 1000 veces también es interesante, y lo mejor, que aúna 2 características que de normal en las pilas recargables no van juntas, que son, gran capacidad y buena retención de carga. Recomendable los flashes de mano de fotógrafos aficionados y profesionales, aportan gran potencia, durabilidad y mayor velocidad de reciclado.
