HERTZ Dieci Series DCX-1003 4" Two-Way Coaxial Speakers - Pair

I like the purchase and happy with the speakers. I replaced a set of speakers on my BMW K1600GT motorcycle. They sounded significantly better than my stock BMW speakers even without the new amp. With the addition of the amp (300W 2ch) I don't turn it up much past half volume and its loud and clear. These mind you, are 4-inch coaxial speakers. You don't and won't get strong base from these or any other 4 in speaker. But it's what I had to work with. The speakers are strong, and the sound is full and clear. At high volume levels i sensed some distortion so i flattened the base and treble levels and washed the distortion out. Loud and clear is my grade on these, love them and would definitely purchase again.

I have extensive experience installing and using aftermarket audio systems, including expensive speakers, amps, dsp, subwoofers, etc. These speakers produce crisp highs and midrange for a coaxial 4". You should not expect much low bass response below 300hz from these or any other 4" speaker in an open baffle car audio install. On my otherwise factory RX 350 202110 speaker system I replaced all (3) of my 4" dashboard speakers with these. The Hertz 100.3 being 92dB means the volume is about one click higher than before on the same power vs the factory speakers. The details are more crisp, the off axis response firing into the windshield sounds excellent, Hertz states these are designed to work well off axis (that means not pointed directly at your ear). I considered the Infinity 4032 which is about half of the price of these, but the tweeter material on the Hertz is superior so these probably sound better.

These worked great as an upgrade for the factory speakers on the 1978 Mercedes. Great sound for the tiny size. Installation was easy, bu that will depend on your car. For the head unit, we have a RetroAudio Europa. The radio is rated to 25w and speakers are 30w, so a good match.

I replaced the stock, (non Bose) rear speakers in my 2007 Porsche 911 and was amazed by the sound. I am not a professional car audio installer but had no problems modifying the plate for the OEM speakers to fit the larger 4 inch wide 1.7 inch deep DCX 100.3 speakers. The sound is awesome.

Great speakers for the upgrade in my SUV. So far only replaced the ones in my dash, but going to continue replacing others with these same speakers.

My 2022 IS 350 did not come with the premium sound system. My audio always sounded flat. I decided to upgrade the front dash left and right speakers. Stock was 3.5” and I bought these 4” speakers and installed them by trimming the plastic around the opening. What a difference! These speakers alone have totally upgraded the sound. Crisp highs and even some added bass! First time purchasing this brand. I plan on upgrading the rest with Hertz speakers

These speakers are a huge upgrade from the originals on my 1985 Mercedes 380SL R107. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly. They do NOT require trimming the plastic inside the car in order to make them fit, unlike other speakers. The holes align very well. The only time consuming part is you have to remove the positive and negative connections from the old speakers and SOLDER them onto the new speakers.

These failed after a year and Hertz won't cover it. TRASH- don't buy it and waste your money. The quality is no good amd won't last.

Superb 4" Coaxial

These are outstanding for 10cm speakers. I have installed two in the dash of my Suzuki hatchback, connected to a Sony CDX-G1100UU stereo. I can turn the volume right up without any distortion, the higher registers are very clear. Interestingly the bass response is no-way near as good as the cheapo standard speakers, but it's a small price to pay for the general improvement in clarity.

Partiamo dal fatto che parliamo di 10cm di altoparlante, quindi non avrete mai un suono pieno e completo usando solo questa coppia di casse. Quindi se sapete cosa state comprando sicuramente rimarrete soddisfatti perchè il suono è pulito e ben equilibrato, gli alti molto ben distinti come da tradizione hertz. Li ho montati su una nissan pixo come unici altoparlanti (le viti non combaciano ma in qualche modo si riescono ad alloggiare) dopo aver provato delle kenwood e delle jvc. Le kenwood erano pulite ma avevano una scarsa ampiezza di suono, le jvc davano la migliore ampiezza del suono ma le diverse frequenze erano meno dettagliate. Queste hertz le più equilibrate, se siete esigenti (e se lo siete sapete già che tipo di suono vi può dare un 10cm) andate pure di hertz, se volete risparmiare e vi interessa più che altro sentire in modo decente senza grosse pretese le JVC fanno al caso vostro
