Moxi Ivy Jungle Roller Skates - Fashionable Womens Roller Skates

Love these skates. I normally wear an 8.5 in womens shoes and going by Moxi website I down sized to an 8 and these fit perfectly. The colors are really cute. Very good pricing. Highly recommend.

So I used to skate and was okay at it. Started to get back into skating and after much research I decided to go through with the Moxi Skates especially jungle ivy. I was surprised that the skates came with toe caps already. That was a huge plus since the printed skates can get scuffed up. As other reviews shared, the skate is definitely stiff but it’s in a good way and not uncomfortable. Definitely provides ankle support! I traded out my wheels with sure grip indoor wheels but I have never loved any skates as much as I love these. One of my concerns was getting scuffs. Yes they will get scuffed up. However if you’re a beginner or beginning again like myself these are perfect. They’re not as expensive as the Lollies and skates are bound to get beat up. (Scuffs=battle wounds). Any way. Very happy with my purchase!!

These are a great skate for their price point. These skates were a bit stiff since they are a vinyl boot but they did break in and provide good ankle support. They come with cute pink outdoor wheels that get the job done for outdoor skating. After I got a bit more comfortable on them I did upgrade to moxi juicy wheels. I get tons of compliments on these and love the style. The pattern did scratch off a bit after a couple of really rough falls, so I wear toe caps to help keep them looking new. I don’t regret this purchase at all and love these skates. They are prefect for starting out or if you want a cute print.

These skates look great, and they fit well, true to size. I upgraded to 65mm Atom Pulse wheels before skating, as I prefer those outdoors. They skate well. After only 20 miles of skating, the front right truck nut had come loose enough to fall off. The boots/tongue are very stiff, which is fine. I do not like the rubber on the tongue, and wish it were covered like the rest of the inside of the skate.

As others have mentioned, these skate boots are very stiff and they will need time and use to soften. The tongue is a thick, grippy rubber material, which I like because it keeps them in place. I hate the texture of the included black laces (it's my adhd sensory issues) so I used pink ones I already had. The wheels look, feel, and roll very nice and honestly I like these skates a lot more than I thought I would. They are also super cute, which is why I bought them. One side note: out of the box these skates emitted a very strong chemical smell for a couple of days. Those who are smell sensitive might want to air them out in a well ventilated place!

I love these skates so much (who can resist cheetah print!?), but part of me wishes I waited and splurged for the Moxi Lollies since the suede boot on those is more form-fitting to the foot than these vinyl, stiffer skates. They are so stiff that I’ve been leaving the top half unlaced, which is perfect balance for me. They are well-made, sturdy skates and I plan to keep them forever and get Moxi Lollies soon! The other downside to these is that you can’t put bigger wheels on them (which help you go faster with less work) without cutting down some of the screws on the bottom. The downside to getting these from amazon and not directly from Moxi is that they didn’t come with their crab skate tool. All things to consider but still no regrets in this purchase!! I get SO many compliments!!
