Nice hatchet
This is a solid, well built tiem. I had to sharpen it myself, but once I did, it has been very useful. I am pleased with the quality and would not hesitate recommending this to a friend.

Just as good as any 1 piece steel axe out there.
It’s a DEWALT hammer handle with an axe head. Used it heavy tearing down some sheds made of plywood and 4x4s I hit a bunch of nails and chewed up the edge then went and sharpened it with a file no problem. Awesome rugged axe. Needs a little sharpening upon arrival as most axes do. Cool design, I expect it to be around for awhile!

Perfect doesn’t get stuck in the wood.
Purchased this for camping to cut kindling to burn. It has very good weight distribution and comes out of the wood easily. It is also the sharpest axe I ever bought. Good job.

happy with it but spent hours sharpening it
incredibly dull to start. i spent prob 4 hours sharpening this thing.. im pretty happy with it now. cuts paper with a slow pull motion. have not used it yet. for now it sits strapped in my truck bed for when i will need it.

A good buy
It’s well built, doesn’t vibrate when you strike, holds a good sharp edge, I purchased this to use indoors at the fireplace, and will be using it for other things like camping, backpacking, wood-shop, etc., it wont replace a full axe, however it works for what I need it for 100%,
