These rollers are smooth and do not make my hair frizzy like the Velcro rollers do. But more importantly, these smooth rollers do not break or damage my hair as the Velcro rollers have caused so much damage to my hair. I use them on both wet hair and on second day dry hair with a little leave in conditioner spray. These rollers are very easy to use. I use duck hair clips to secure each roller. My hair comes out with big bouncy curls and so much volume. I have long layered hair down to the middle of my back and 1 package of 12 rollers is perfect and just enough for my entire hair.
