I've been making pies for a long time, and my favorite pin - until now- was one which had no handles and was the same width from end to end. I had tried tapered pins but didn't like them as much. Decided to try the Fletchers'Mill rolling pin and was so glad to have it. It's a good weight, and the weight definitely worked in my favor. Made a cherry pie to try it out, and it rolled smoothly and effortlessly. I'm so happy with my purchase!

Very smooth roll. The ball bearing work well. Bought this for my grandma who loves to bake and is having a harder time using a rolling pin that doesn't have ball bearings. Excellent product.

I have bought a few different styles of rolling pins recently. The last wooden roller with handles I purchased from another company, also made in America, was a major disappointment. That pin, of the same size as this one, has a weak rod that causes bowing and poor rolling. Not the case with this pin! It is very well made, as a rolling pin should be. My only regret is that I didn't find this pin first! I am finally happy with my new rolling pin! On top of being well made, it is beautiful and beautifully finished.

I had put off buying a really nice rolling pin for a very long time....this purchase is perfect! Beautiful finish, ease of rolling, good weight...and, with the holidays coming up, this will be in use quite often! I've already tried it out several times....I bake a lot, and this new little item will have a prime location in my kitchen! Love it!

Though I have not used this yet, my initial reaction upon receiving and examining it was "very impressed", and the quality of workmanship is outstanding. I'm seasoning the rock maple rolling surface now with a light coating of mineral oil, and can't wait to try it on my homemade pizza dough!

Good quality -- good replacement for my previous maple ball-bearing rolling pin I have had to 50 years. That is quite a good review for something that is still as well made as one bought so many years ago. Can't say that about too many things now-a-days

We loved our Fletchers Mill Salt and Pepper Shaker, so when we broke our rolling pin, we had to purchase one from them. This rolling pin is sturdy and works well. I do not imagine it will ever break, and it could probably take out an intruder as well.
