Good price, good fit and does the job
Fitted easily in my HP Microserver, been running 24/7 since, no issues, 1/3 of the price of a 'refurb' HP unit.

Not a perfect match
The good part, it fits in a HP Proliant G7 N40L and got me up and running, after the original went pop just after a memory upgrade. The bad, the three screw holes to fix it in are not a very good match and the fit is very tight so getting it fixed in place is hard work, and the power inlet is lower than it should be now. The ATX 24 pin connect cable is a little on the short side so it can't be routed the same way as the original part, so might create an airflow issue. One of the Molex came apart so the red cable of the socket was not connected and could have shorted on the case if I hadn't spotted it in the tight space that it had to be connected up in. On the plus side the Molex to SATA for the optical drive was not needed any more.

Fit so tight that you won't be able to return
Old power supply slipped out easily. The new one needs to be forced into place, meaning you almost cetrainly cause damage. The screws at the back dont align, but then I'm not sure the PSU will even come out again. Continued having intermittent issues, despite testing RAM and Drives. You know the old saying: Intermittent trouble with your memory....it's the power supply. Intermittent trouble with your software....it's the power supply. Intermittent trouble with your hard drives....it's the power supply. I then decided to buy a reconditioned N54L Microserver off ebay. Now everything running smoothly on the reconditioned unit. Can I recommend this product....No, I'm not sure it ever work properly. For twice the price of this PSU I was able to pick up a reconditioned Microserver, so I'd go that route instead.

Excellent replacement for blown PSU in Proliant Gen7
My beloved HP Proliant microserver died, with its power supply shorting out. There's not much point in backing everything on to a RAID array if the computer has no power, so I hunted for a replacement. HP only provide support if you have a service contract, though their online manuals were helpful in replacing the PSU when I'd foud this one at Amazon. The physical sizes match, though this is a smidgen taller, so wasn't easy to push into place. It differs from the original in having two cables with Molex and SATA female ends (the original had two double Molex and a single). The vendor included a Mloex male to three female, so I was able to connect all four hard rives with Molex, and the DVD with a SATA female. All other cables were precise matches for the original, and of appropriate lengths. A huge relief when it worked first time, and MUCH cheaper than a new server.

Very tight fit!
While this power supply does what it is supposed to in terms of powering the PC, it is very slightly larger than the original in the HP Microserver G7, and had to be very firmly pushed into place. Once there, the screw-holes don't quite line up with those in the Microserver's chassis - I could only fit screws in two of the holes. It's only been installed for a couple of days, but so far, so good.

This is a great power supply, first one same with damage to wires but replaced quickly. It’s a tight fit with n54l hp but it works without any issues and server up and runner

A parte un po' di odore di elettronica classico, funziona perfettamente. Nessun problema neanche con l'installazione. Leggermente difficoltoso l'inserimento dei connettori di alimentazione dei dischi con la frusta fornita.
