I needed a front rack to rest my doggie basket as the bracket that came with the dog carrier rests on the handlebar, and I didn’t feel safe having all that weight on the handlebar. This bracket complements the color on my bike perfectly and very affordable compared to the other ones I looked at. I’m not a handy person so it took me about 2 hours putting it together (2x installing and reinstalling). It was worth it in the end as my handlebar is now more balanced even with my dog in the basket. I used the existing screws on my bike except for the 2 screws attached to the hinge.

Great rack for holding small lightweight items. I put this on my kid's 24" Islabikes and it's been awesome. Used it for bike camping to hold a sleeping bag and clothes.Install wasn't too tough, just making sure the brackets weren't in the way of the brakes.
