Review: Reasonably Priced - Works Great - I really like this fuel pump because it doesn't require any battery power, just good 'ole manual power. It was reasonably priced and it works very well to pump gasoline from my large tank. I was concerned whether it would work for this tank, as this pump, as purchased, is made to work with up to a 55-gallon drum. The pick up tube telescopes, but it still didn't go deep enough for my tank. To make it work with my deeper tank, I un-threaded the pick-up tube from the bottom of the pump body and added a galvanized coupling and pipe nipple to extend it. I had difficulty pushing the nipple through the collar, so I used a rotary grinding bit to slightly enlarge the hole in the collar. I then sealed the collar with a fuel resistant caulk. Review: Works great! - This thing can move some liquid! I can fill my generator up in seconds, lawn mower in a minute or two. Only recommendation is use teflon tape on all the fittings.
