Buy one!
Bought this to replace a 20+ year old compressor. This one was highly reviewed (#2 or #3 choice) on a bicycle website, so I chose this one. It works great, very easy to use - although I did read the instruction manual first (which I normally don't, but using this wasn't that obvious with this unit - and I'm pretty tech minded for a girl...). I inflated 4 bike tires very quickly. Only once, did the pressure gauge not seem to read correctly - but I could have forgotten to reset it between tires once. So I have 2 tires at 25 PSI, one at 40 PSI and one at supposedly 75 PSI but they all feel about the same when squeezed... As noted by other reviewers - it has a plastic housing, not metal, and there are some tiny accessory pieces that don't have a home - I put them in a plastic bag and taped them to the inside of the box. But it feels sturdy and worked like a dream.

Valuable tool
Bought this for our new car.Already have one like it in our old car, and I would not leave home without it. I use it regularly when we are about to go on a road trip. Easy to use and seems to be accurate. Small enough not to be much of a storage problem.

Not very good engineering-some rubber sleeve or rounded edge would address it
It is my 2nd pump. First lasted about 5 years until hose got worn out on the plastic ridge underneath. Not very good engineering-some rubber sleeve or rounded edge would address it. I picked the same pump because it is the only one that uses all metal air clamp. Regrettably I can't use it. The new pump is unusable due to major silly flaw. The 12V plug does not fit in any of my vehicles outlets. It just too big. Few times I managed to jam the plug all the way in - it worked. Then I almost ripped the dash truing to pull it out. Unfortunately I missed the window to return the pump and will have to adopt the plug from other auto device.

Runs much slower & hotter than expected, auto shut-off PSI preset feature doesn't work. Find a better air compressor, skip this.
It's pretty slow, adding 8 psi to my 4 car tires took around 25 mins (you have to let it cool down after 10 min of use). The units also heats up way too much (the cigarette 12V plug will burn your skin if you touch it after using it for more than 5 mins), the accessories (other tips/plugs) fall off every time I use it, but most importantly, the preset PSI/auto shut-off feature doesn't work, that was the only reason I had bought this device vs other *cheaper* competitors. By the time I determined the preset shutoff function wasn't working I had missed the return window and the seller 'Boat and RV Accessories' was unwilling to take it back.

Works as intended when it works
Great that you can set the auto-shutoff pressure. Had some issues where I had to keep retrying to make it work. Would plug into cigarette lighter, turn ignition key to accessories, then connect to tire port and lock valve, but then wouldn't work when set to normal or preset pump. Would disconnect everything, and then after a couple tries it worked. Then switched to another tire and didn't work, so had to repeat the procedure to get it to work. No idea where this glitch could be coming from; the connection of the digital pressure gauge to the compressor?
