Great knife at a fantastic price
Comfortable, no nonsense knife that does everything you want it to easily..dry immediately after cleaning though or rust blooms appear on it high carbon content blade. Takes an holds a fine edge with a little patience. I have better . But I use this one the most because it's a pleasure to use in the kitchen.

Brilliant knife
This was a bit bigger than I'd expected for a paring knife (I really should check the measurements in the description!!) but it's a brilliant knife. Very sharp and ideal for vegetables and hard fruits. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Alright knife for £6.50 - Better recommendation inside review.
I guess it's okay for the £6.50 I paid, but it's no way near as good as the same company's "Sabatier Trompette" 15cm chef's knife which cost me about £7 (in a set of 3 knives which cost £21 total). Link; Richardson Sheffield 3-Piece Sabatier Trompette Knife Starter Set, Silver PROS: It's fairly comfortable to hold, but not quite as nice as the Sabatier Trompette series. Seems well made, sharp out of the box. Slices very well, and goes through food easily. Decent size, but just a bit too much on the bigger size for my preference. Can scoop food extremely well due to being wide. It has cutouts on the side of the blade to reduce sticking. So far I have had no sticking of food to it. CONS: The grind on it starts where the cutouts are on the blade, far too close to the edge (as you can see in the official photo above). This means the blade wants to tilt a bit when cutting (it wants to tilt away from you, so it exits the food before you reach the chopping board), which is not a big problem, I can just adjust the angle of the blade as I cut, but it's really not as nice as a really thin full flat ground blade (as you can see in my photo below), which just goes straight down much better. Conclusion: Good value for money, but there are better options. I've added a photo of all my knives from this brand (sorry I don't have a good photo of this specific knife). The front two are AMAZINGLY good at cutting due to their shape. I'll add a review of them here: Richardson Sheffield 3-Piece Sabatier Trompette Knife Starter Set, Silver

Packaged terribly
Bought two of these knives as I prefer the "Santoku" style. 12.5cm does feel a little bit small in my hand but I anticipated the larger one to be too big. The blade Feels sharp and the handle feels inexpensive but acceptable. The worst part about these is the packaging they arrived in. The cardboard sleeve which covers the knife is literally glued to the blade & extremely difficult to get off. Trying to get the knife free I could feel how thin and flexible the blade actually was, which I wasn't impressed with. Blade is covered in sticky glue dots and paper. Hopefully it will come off after a few rounds in the dishwasher but not really what you want all over your new knives. 👎🏻

I recently purchased the Richardson Sheffield 20 cm Cucina Cook's Knife in Silver, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! This knife has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen, and I'm delighted to share my positive experience with others. First and foremost, the performance of this knife is outstanding. Its 20 cm blade is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring remarkable durability and sharpness that stays true even after multiple uses. Whether I'm slicing through tough vegetables or effortlessly chopping herbs, the blade glides smoothly and effortlessly through every task, making my food preparation a breeze. The ergonomic design of the handle is another major plus point. It offers a comfortable grip, allowing for precise control and reducing the strain on my hand during prolonged use. Even during intensive cooking sessions, I've noticed that my hand remains fatigue-free, thanks to the thoughtful design of the knife's handle. Additionally, the overall balance of the Richardson Sheffield Cucina Cook's Knife is impeccable. The weight distribution between the blade and the handle is perfectly aligned, resulting in a knife that feels stable and easy to maneuver. This balance not only enhances the cutting performance but also makes the knife safer to use. Moreover, the Silver color of the knife adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen. The timeless design fits well with any kitchen decor, and it's a pleasure to display on my magnetic knife strip. The knife also comes with a blade guard, ensuring both safe storage and protection of the blade when not in use. Cleaning and maintenance are hassle-free, as the knife is dishwasher-safe. However, I prefer hand washing it to maintain its longevity and sharpness over time. In conclusion, the Richardson Sheffield 20 cm Cucina Cook's Knife in Silver is an exceptional kitchen tool that combines performance, comfort, and aesthetics flawlessly. Its impressive cutting abilities, ergonomic design, and stylish appearance make it stand out among other knives in its category. I can confidently say that this knife has elevated my cooking experience, and I highly recommend it to any home cook or professional chef seeking a reliable and high-performing kitchen companion.

Great bread knife
Finding a ‘traditional’ bread knife at a reasonable price was hard work with the new knife laws. I was so pleased to have found this one. Delivery wasn’t straight forward as I had to be present and prove ID but it was worth it.

Validissimo e costa poco !!!!!

1. Blade is extremely sharp, it is sharp now so will see how long it last before need a shine. 2. Easy to hold and balanced weight 3. Not with the sleeve so you may find how to store it once you have it. 4. Majority of Indians are not used to buy a knife of INR 200+ but for me it was totally worth it. Updated on: Aug 15th 2022. Still the way it was on day one. Totally loving it.
