However, during his one-month pediatrician visit, his doctor recommended switching to Desitin Maximum Strength Paste & A+D ointment. Cleared up irritation pretty quickly and helped soothe the skin fast. It’s thick and stays in place, so it actually protects the area instead of rubbing off right away. It can be a little messy, but that’s expected with how strong it is. Overall, it did exactly what I needed it to do and I’d use it again.

As a childcare provider of 20+ years this is THE diaper cream. Nothing else even comes close. Especially for those teething diapers that are so acidic that they make bottoms bright red almost immediately. This stuff clears it right up. It is my go to rash cream. I am never without a tube right at the changing table.

This is the stuff my mom told me to get for diaper rash. It has a smell but by golly, it really is the best when it comes to clearing up diaper rash. Fair warning though, it likes to get on everything- it WILL wash out eventually but some things that it gets on may keep that smell for a bit. We did use our pack and play diaper changing table and it got on that and wouldn't come out of that type of material.
