Nothing against China per se, just had heard from friends that they mass-produce cheap guitars that aren't just inexpensive, they're cheap vis-a-vis materials, musical design and function, etc.This one was perfectly fine - exceeded my expectations in terms of price (low) and quality (reasonably good).If you're a serious professional guitar player, I don't imagine you'll be interested in this product.If you're a new player, or like me - I'm a pianist who occasionally played guitar and hadn't touched one in years - I think you'll find this guitar works well.It has a good sound, easy to tune, plays well, and looks good.Shipping was fine. Delivered on time and the guitar was pre-strung and un-hurt by the travel. I was concerned about the shipping wear and tear, but the guitar was fine.I purchased the package that includes a digital tuner, a starter pick (already had several), a full change of strings, and a teaching DVD. Didn't use the DVD, so can't speak to it. But the digital tuner was okay, strings were okay.
