I was glad to find that these are exactly the same model and will work as wonderfully as the one I had from so long ago! I got two - the light green and the dark blue as a gift for a friend. They both look great and feel like a good quality product. I love these so much! I hate trying to scrape cold butter over fresh toast, and the skin butter gets when you leave it out makes it not taste as great. I LOVE the butter bell. I know that every time I go to spread butter, it will be smooth, fresh, and tasty. Everyone needs a butter bell!

We were a bit wary of leaving the butter out all of the time, but this works exactly as described. You have soft butter when you need it. It holds a full stick of butter. The one drawback is that you must remember to change the water as per the instructions. But it's easy to use and looks great on our counter.
