Men’s Lightweight Patrol Glove

Very good glove. I got 2x. My hands are pretty well on point with size of other gloves so the fit is pretty much perfect. This is the glove you want if your looking for more maneuverability and freedom. The thin feeling with the goatskin on the other side. Perfect for gun range activity, phone use, or even as driving gloves. As for the hanging tag words that hang on the side (which is pretty common with gloves and I find annoying) I used scissors and cut off the hanging excess that had words of advertisement of the glove etc. You can see the picture of the glove of what I cut off. Those things, just annoy me. Maybe for some, it doesn't matter. I want a nice sleek professional look and a good fit so I clip off the tags and things sometimes. This is something you get what you pay for. This is a good glove. I mostly bought it for the shooting range and dealing with firearms and ammunition out on the range. If your looking for some warmer gloves that are high quality for winter driving or winter (being outside) get the mechanix winter gloves. I use some regular style mechanix gloves when driving. I can see myself ordering another pair of these in the future just to keep in my car to drive with. I love the feel and comfort-ability that much! I hope this review helped someone decide. You definitely get the value for money on this one.

These gloves fit perfectly. I have small hands and struggle to find gloves that fit close without being tight, so I was thrilled with the fit and the flexibility these afforded me. They are comfortable and sturdy, yet thin enough to use them for pat downs and searches. I clean them with hand sanitizer after each use and it has never affected them. They never faded, never had a loose thread, never changed shape. I just ordered another pair after nearly 3 years because my last pair ended up with blood on the inside after I put them on someone else’s hands who was injured and cold and they were all I had on me to help. I was kind of sad when I threw them away because they’d been through so much with me and I got used to having them tucked into my duty belt. I live in a humid area that gets really hot in the summer. The gloves held up to the sweat and didn’t overheat my hands like every other pair I’d tried. I tossed them into the washer with cold water on the gentle cycle inside of a mesh laundry bag and air dried them after to keep them fresh. They’ve also been through a couple of unseasonably cold (for my area) winters and with nitrile gloves underneath, even held up to making snowballs. They’re not particularly warm, but have kept my fingers from being cold in a pinch for temps down to about 40° F. They’re snug enough to wear under a pair of warmer gloves, too. I legitimately cannot recommend these gloves enough. Just make sure you’ve measured your hands properly to get the correct size so you can have the same experience I did.

This article was written by my son who works as a Security Officer. TLDR, Lightweight, functional gloves that come right out the box as described. Go a size smaller than you usually get IMHO for a skintight feel. They look professional, feel professional. I bought the gloves for functionality at colder temps for short periods of time. I feel they will do just fine for where I live. I look forward to using them in the summer. The leather palms are a bonus and add a level of sophistication without being overly intimidating. I patrol my town five graveyards a week. I live in the Southwest so I was looking for gloves that I can wear when I have to step out into the elements since it's winter time. I have not used the gloves on duty yet. It is safe to say that I feel like they will protect my hands for the ten to fifteen minutes I am usually outside of my vehicle. BEWARE if you live in colder climates. These are definitely not built for extremely cold temperatures. I usually wear large on my warmer gloves and a medium if I want skin tight fit. I made the right choice by going medium as there is very little wiggle room once worn. Which is a good thing as the second function of the gloves was to utilize the touted touchscreen compatibly. With the gloves being skin tight I had better interactions with my phones than other gloves with the same function. Which are usually squared off and bulky on the finger tips and never feels right. Just by pulling my glove fingers down a little bit I get better tactile response on my screens and it almost feels like I'm wearing nothing. I am sure once I get used to them it will be a none issue. IT DOESNT FEEL WEIRD. The third function I needed was dexterity. I need to be able to use all the tools on my duty belt and my vehicle without constantly taking on and off my gloves. From my OC spray, Taser, flash light, and my tools. To the pouches and pockets I open and close on a consistent basis. These gloves hit the bull on the head. I couldn't ask for a better glove. They are flexible in all the right places. The ability to touch and feel are there. I feel you do not sacrifice to do the day to day things you'd need to do while on duty while wearing them. I had my friend let me handle his firearm. The control I have is superb and they don't get in the way of using ANY function of it including drawing and firing. It feels good in the hands and I feel more confident with the firearm with them on than without the gloves. They look professional and a very lightweight. Only problem I have is the material is a little loose on the knuckles joining my hand on the backside. Which is minor and hardly noticeable (I'm OCD when it comes to looking as professional as possible so the wrinkles are a slight turn off) These are definitely my new EDC gloves. Only time will tell on durability and the ability to wash them. But I feel material wise I will get the $30 out of them this winter and summer. I would probably buy these gloves again as I haven't found similar gloves like this on the market.

The gloves have a very skin tight style fit, which allows for tremendous dexterity, which is very crucial in manipulating your firearm or any other weapon you have on your duty belt It’s also very breathable, and at the moment seems to be quite durable and has a very slick compact designed to it that I absolutely fell in love with, as someone who is owned many pair of gloves I would easily say this is one of the best and definitely belongs in the top five It should be noted. These gloves are not going to be great protection against needles or any sharp object so if you’re buying with the intention of thinking, so you will be disappointed, even though the product is not claim to be, I just wanted to warn people who might not be as familiar with gloves. Overall, the gloves simply look amazing and they feel amazing and I’ve been able to use my smart phone with great accuracy without having to take my gloves off, which is something I really look for in patrol gloves, and this nails right on the head Definitely worth the money rather your police, Security, or just simply wanting a pair for the range I definitely give these gloves five stars, as I truly believe they deserve it

I wear size XL gloves and there is always a bit of apprehension when ordering something like a snug fitting glove on line. These fit perfectly and appear to be high quality and well made. Very pleased with them

These gloves are impressive. They do exactly what they claim, including touchscreen capability. I would describe these gloves as a second skin. I'm currently typing this review with both gloves on, after taking this photo. Minimal typos. The glove is more of a spandex material on the top than I expected. It's very thin and I expected it to tear. However, so far it has held up admirably. I got these for use with my day-to-day work delivering the mail. I wanted something lightweight with a resistant palm that won't succumb to abrasion like many stitched gloves do after about a month or two. These are so nice. I'm only using them one day a week for package only delivery but when my other gloves wear out I'll add them to the rotation. So far so good. I'm quite impressed with these. The Palm has held up and so at the top without any durability loss. They're extremely breathable and my hands feel sweat at all, even in the heat. You can feel every little thing. Like I said, it's like a second skin. The tactile feedback is second to none even greater than mechanix wear gloves. The stitching is very good. Many different panels in the Palm. All of them double stitched. No overhanging parts or anything that can rub or catch. Overall a great glove and I'm going to look into more first tactical products in the future. The only thing I'd watch out for is if your hands are going into tight spaces it may cause abrasion on the top part. Not sure how quickly that will wear yet. Highly recommend the gloves

Fit is good, comfy and build quality of the material seems good. Logo is peeling after a couple days of use which doesn't affect performance, but they look crappy and they're brand new. They work ok on touchscreens, but not great, like 70% of the time they register a tap. Get these on sale, the premium full price is not reflected in the finish of these.

Amazing gloves for correctional setting! These gloves offer great protection without being super bulky. The leather is also very grippy!
