I purchased this battery for a Invisible Pet Fence Controller back up battery, my battery which was original had gone bad after many years and was presenting a slow beep and red indicator light. After reading other reviews, I fully expected to have to replace the connector, With some very basic tools, Automotive Wire Cutters/Crimpers and cheap insulated male and female connectors 16-22 awg, you can easily do this yourself. I happen to have all of these tools already but for probably less than 20 bucks you can buy the supplies needed on top of an already cheap battery. This is still a heck of a deal considering if you were to purchase the battery directly from Invisible Pet Fence This costs $58.00.

these did not last long at all, a complete and total waste of money. they sat for 1 month, and now will not charge at all.

The replacement batteries are working fine.
I used the batteries to rebuild the battery pack for my lawn mower. The replacement batteries fit in the battery pack housing perfectly and all the wiring connections were just right making the job easy. I charged the battery for 18 hours, put the rebuilt battery pack in my mower and started mowing. The batteries provided plenty of power and quite a good battery life before needing charging again.

Good replacement for Invisible Fence battery
The connector wasn’t the same but the shape and size matched the original battery (see picture) perfectly. Wire cutters / strippers and some electrical tape did the rest. Probably wise to solder or use crimp connectors, but with little movement of the wall (hopefully) and a staggered splice, I don’t expect any trouble.
