I got another propolis from different company and it broke into tiny pieces and some layer looking like pollen so definitely not as nice as this one. I will update after extraction is finished, but so far, with each day, the propolis looks more and more cloudy so it is nicely drown into the 95% alcohol. I did 1:9 extraction (weight) and planning to concentrate it by evaporation to 30% at 6-8 weeks of extraction. I will be reusing this raw propolis for next extraction 2 more times hopefully until it breaks all down to tiny crumbs. So for the money, it is still worth it because so far I can tell the quality is nice. It could be more affordable, but I can understand the costs and that maybe it is harder to get this propolis from Russian bees.
