GDM Dual Sport Motorcycle Helmet

Better quality than I expected.

As far as the overall looks and design of the helmet I for one would be hard pressed to find one anywhere at any price I liked better. For openers it’s not a gigantic mushroom on your head. It’s sleek, the visors are great and it fits snug. The reason for 4 stars however is it seems to me to be poorly ventilated but maybe it’s not much different than most. The only thing is I don’t see how it could be any less hot because the vents in front are minuscule when all is considered. Aside from that it’s made well and I’ve taken it apart and it goes back together fine. The only other criticism would be the chin strap which didn’t work for me. It worked but I didn’t like it so I modified it. Other than that it’s a great helmet.Edit* I changed to 5 Stars because the helmet has held up well after a year and after contacting the seller they took care of my broken visor attachments. Good customer service.

(Matte Black, Tinted & Clear Shields, XX-Large) so i recieved my helmet the other day. My 24in head fit in the xx helmet very snug with a fleece balaclava for winter rides. so lets get to the d rings. d rings are stamped metal and they are not finished and smooth. the ones on this helmet would cut your finger if i wasnt careful. being a diy' er i took my dremel and some sand paper to the sharp edges to keep the straps from fraying (and most important) from cutting the strap on high impact. This important finishing step for the d rings should not have been skipped. less the d rings thing ,this under a hundred dollar helmet suits my needs and i am very happy with my purchase so far. (one star off for rings)

So I've been using this Helmet for at least Six months. 20 mile ride to Work. Had to get smaller pads to fit comfortably,But the GDM store sent them to me at no cost. The only problem I have is the lense fogging in the mornings mostly. So I usually keep it opened slightly to get some wind on it. Tried anti fog but didn't help. There may be a product that works though. But for the price I'm OK with it. Great costumer service.

Husband loved this very comfortable for long periods of time. Came with several different shields Looks really good and does not scratch easily.

I don’t usually write Amazon reviews….. just a little annoyed. First of all, I think it’s a great product. Quick release would be nice. Other than that I have nothing to complain about the quality of the product. It does a fantastic job at being a helmet…appears, and feels like it’s going to protect my head. It’s comfortable. I noticed the cushions on the inside of the helmet are easily removable for cleaning purposes I’m assuming.Now, for the real reason why I wrote this review. At the time of this review it clearly, shows a gold visor and I got the blue one instead. My second choice was the chrome reflective one I didn’t even get that one. As of right now, there is no way to order a gold visor separate on Amazon. You have to go to their website to order a gold visor, which by the way cost $30. I refuse to spend $30 on the shiny gold piece of plastic. And it is not worth my time to return and wait for another helmet. Just easier to write a review. That being said, it’s still a good helmet.

The best part is that it 'fits my head'. My last helmet was a motocross helmet and that really didn't fit my head well. It would go on and stay on, but there were pressure points and 'loose areas'.The visor will fog (going to look into anti-fogging stuff) but you can lift it and the circulating air does a pretty good job of keeping it clear (even in very high humidity).It looks good, is comfortable and functions well. I'd buy this one again.

Fit is perfect. Good ventilation. Good material.
