The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame Minifigure Star-Struck Emmet Edition (Xbox One)

My 6 year old nephew and I are gutted. Nothing about this game is anything like the tried-and-tested format of the other Lego games. We’ve played the original Lego Movie game, Batman Beyond and Harry Potter and have played and completed them multiple times and loved them all.Sadly the new Lego Movie 2 game is a big step backwards. The graphics are terrible (everything looks pixelly - especially bad in split screen multiplayer and the gameplay is quite simply deplorable. We played for an hour-and-a-half and we just couldn’t figure out what to do to advance the game so we gave up and put the Batman Beyond game in.If you loved the other Lego games and are looking for more of the same, you will not find what you are looking for in this game, sadly. We’ve been waiting in anticipation for this game for months and are quite simply devastated by how it turned out.My nephew who is just learning to read could play the other games just fine. There’s no way he could play this game. I’m his uncle and his gamer bro and I can’t even figure it out.I’m not sure what Amazon’s policy is on games that have been opened, played for a day and returned but I’m gonna give it a shot. We’ve not played Lego super heroes, super villains or Ninjago yet so going to try to return this and get one of them. Not sure amazon will accept the return tho as the game is open but going to try!!!!Don’t waste your money on this game; you’re only in for bitter disappointment.
