So I got this product on a Friday, and I have used it all weekend, and wanted to let you know my experience with using it. First, I stopped using my other 'hot flash' medicine (Amberin) to give this a try. It worked, but not as well as the Amberin. While I can honestly say I did not have hot flashes, I did have warm flashes, and woke up a lot to throw off the covers, then pull them back on. However, there was no awful sweating involved, which is good. Second, I do believe that it did have a hand in my mood. My husband had the flu this weekend, which is enough to send anyone into a rage. He asked for a bell to ring to be able to summon me. I kid you not. Don't worry, he is still alive. I was able to take it all in stride. Usually that would set me off in a really bad mood for a really long time. I just told him 'nope' and walked away. The 'Man Flu' is real. I dealt with it. This stuff works for moods. As far as anything else, I like the fact that there are no contraindications with any other drugs, because I take a crap-ton of meds for other things. I have chronic migraines and I have had shingles too many times to count, so the fact that I don't have to worry about this messing with my other meds is great. I also think that this kind of helped boost my energy levels, because I did not feel the need to take a nap on any day that I took this, which surprised me. Usually I can nap at the drop of a hat. I use a lot of the Zhou products because I believe they work and are fairly priced and I now have my husband using your products as well, so we are now firmly ensconced into the Zhou family.

I have been taking the Evening Primrose supplement for about a week. First of all, I love the purple packaging. It’s feminine, but not overly “girly”. I like to look for supplements that are “cold pressed” and loved that this product was not only cold-pressed but made with non-GMO ingredients. Initially I thought the price for the product was a bit high, but then realized it was a 90-day supply so that made the price a lot more reasonable. Three months of supplements for about $18 wasn’t bad at all! I was a bit surprised at the size of the softgel. It was pretty big and might not be ideal for people who have a hard time swallowing large pills. I started to notice its effect within a few days. I felt like it helped with PMS symptoms, especially mood and bloating. I have noticed my skin is clearing up a bit too. I’m hoping these effects continue because I really like the way I’m feeling. If I can feel the effects of this product after a week, I’m excited to see how it affects me over the next 3 months, and beyond!

I've used a different product from amazon that starts with a S and has gold caps for about two years now and worked nicely. was looking around for something to give more bang for my buck and thought i'd try this. i was already taking 1300mg so this was not a big jump for me so didn't really feel any difference from the other product. the one things that did stand out to me, comparatively speaking, is every time i open the bottle they smell terrible! i can't even describe the foul odor but it's tough getting past. but there's no weird after tastes, no upset stomach, nothing else is negative. just stinky.

I am in menopause and these were a godsend. They not only help with the symptoms but I am also able to sleep better than I have in a long while.

It's hard for me to try new supplements because I dont want to risk negative side effects. I have my trust in good brands though, so after reading a bunch of reviews-I thought I'd give this one a go. I am 32, Asian, mother of 2, suffer from eczema on hands and arms from time to time in colder weather (MN), I also don't have the greatest immune system (aka hot mess human). I read about evening primrose benefits for skin conditions and wasnt expecting to have the supplement work until after at least a week. Oh boy, my eczema cleared up after 2 days of use! I will be reordering this brand ! Yessir!! I heard it also helps with making hair shaft stronger too so hopefully I will see less hair loss (I also take a biotin gummy and collagen drink-daily). Please take this supplement with food and a glass of water...it is a high dose of evening primrose some people have found lower doses and eased into it..but knowing my stubborn body...I am usually ok to start with higher doses for supps.
