Noy o.e.m quality
Not impressed with quality yet... I received the bumper what appeared to be well packaged upon opening I found for mounting tabs that were severely bent which I believe happened during production not during shipment. Also this bumper is quite a bit thinner material than a stock GM bumper I am hoping that does not translate to surface rust. I did scuff up the inside and paint it as a next level of protection to prevent rust. I live in the rust belt so time is limited with anything you own due to corrosion. However I reached out to the manufacturer and they did offer me a 10% refund due to the mounting tabs being bent. I was able to manipulate the tabs back and position does not seem to affect fit or function of the bumper. Overall for the cost of this bumper I truly expected better quality. Bumper is still made in China.. It's a shame because if you want a bumper that's closer to OE specs I found them they're almost $500.. I can replace 2 bumpers for that price and the truck is already 16 years old. So the trucks lifes is limited. I would also suggest not buying this bumper at all due to the fact I am 2 months into Winter in already have rust showing up the bumper is a total of 6 months old be in on the truck, And now I was informed I have to pay return shipping. For a warranty return claim. Do yourself a favor avoid this seller at all cost.. I honestly either find a bumper in good condition in a salvage yard or get one for an OE supplier.
