Easy to apply, and it definitely gives a quiet ride with smooth shifting. Doesn’t last very long, but it’s a dry lube, so it’s what you’d expect. Very good price as well! Definitely recommend for dry days on trails with your MTB.

Works like a dream!

This is only an initial review, since I haven't even taken a ride yet since lubing my chain with this stuff but these are my first impressions. After washing my bike and chain, I proceded to lube the chain according to my experience, which is contrary to the instructions, which mention lubing every part of the chain, when in actuality, all you need to lube are the rollers from the top of the chain. Anyway, after finishing and wiping off the excess, I noticed something special right away. I have never gotten my chain spotless after de-greasing, and after lubing with another brand of lube, I would always get more grit and dirt on the cloth I used to wipe off the excess immediately, but with this product, that wasn't the case. It's quite viscous but only more so than the watery lube I would use before. I only dabbed a drop for each roller in my chain and made sure to get each one and rotate the chain and cassette. But while I held the cloth under the chain to get the excess off, all I got was lube and no extra dirt. This shows me what it's like to deal with a quality product and although Muc-Off is everywhere you deal with cycling, they've seemed to have earned their reputation. And while $10 seems like a lot for a bottle of lube, the amount I actually used was minuscule and this will last a good long while. The opaque bottle will even keep light from getting in and drying out the lube, which has happened to me in the past with the other brand I have used in the past. But no more. Muc-Off has won themselves another customer and I can't wait to try out more of their products. Best thing about this lube is the scent. They didn't have to add any scent to this lube and it still would have been great, but details like these make me smile. Give this a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have tried a bunch of chain lubes, and honestly I'm still undecided on one and only one, over the years I have tried many brands, so after cleaning my chain from a previous dry lube, I tried this, the applicator is precise and not wasteful, I do the drip every link method which always worked well, this formula comes out white, and I can see it quickly penetrate the rollers quickly, I usually don't even wipe the chain as it's mostly dry to the touch after letting it sit 8 hours (best to apply it a day before a ride or else the carrier solvent won’t have time to evaporate leaving you with a wet chain), it also has a pleasant scent making it nice to work with. So far my drivechain has been very clean, much cleaner then when I used other dry lubes so that's a plus, after a couple 20 mile rides I noticed the chain start to get noisy which is usually an indicator it needs to be lubed again, so I guess that's the drawback of this lube is that it should be applied after every couple of rides, besides for being clean I am unsure how well it protects the components, as it being clean does leave fewer contaminants but how well it's actually lubricating the rollers and other parts is hard to tell in the short term. Overall I recommend it, definitely in my top list of dry lubes, and probably the cleanest one I used so far, I mostly ride in super dry and dusty conditions and often the second rider in a group so lots of additional dust.

I recently purchased a higher-end mountain bike and started noticing that my chain was becoming squeaky after having my bike exposed to the rain, and being parked outside for extended periods of time. I was becoming worried that I wasn't taking good enough care of my bike, and didn't to mess up the 21 gear system that was making my bike so easy to ride up and down steep hills. After wiping the gunk off my chain and just 1 application of this chain lube, the squeaking on my chain completely stopped. This treatment also smells nice (not like chemicals) and dried within a few hours kf application. It was a great value and seems to works as described.

Nice quality chain lube. Sticks well and keeps my chain quiet. I use it indoors and it doesn't make a mess.

Top tier. I never used chain lube before and did some research on what dry lube is. Started using this last summer and having to replace cassettes has become a lot less frequent. I'm an animal and removed the cable from my cassette because I only use the smallest cog. I adjust it manually and leave it as is. Between using this lube and frequently stopping at a car wash to clean the chain and all gears, I've had no issues. Will be buying another bottle soon. It lasted me a year and I daily bike at least 15km in the summer if it's not raining(northern Alberta). Awesome product.

Très bon produit mais ne l’achetez pas si vous utilisez votre vélo quotidiennement pour des trajets maison-travail par exemple, préférez la version spécial pluie qui devrait mieux résister à l’usage citadin. J’ai l’impression de devoir en mettre très régulièrement à cause de cela.

Everyone should have a lubricant and degreaser to take care of the bike. This one had an almost good value to price ratio but had the faster delivery, so it was my first pick!

My mountain bike appreciate it when it gets a bit of love and attention and this is the right thing for it.
