It came in handy climbing my 22 year old pine tree which needs trimming.I did not need a heavy duty harness as the belt will be used a few times only and not as a mountain climbing hobbywhich would have cost much more as the whole harness would of been needed. At no time was I concerned about it failing. The on only complaint is there are no tool loops ro pockets like my last belt, but that makes it much less likely you will clip to a tool instead of the D ring.
