They fir well, have a good feel, and seem like theyre chock full of that merrell quality ( thats found in Vietnam, or wherever these are made). The toe box is roomy, they have more substance and support than the vapor glove series, and look good. Personally, id appreciate just solid colors but these are mostly my gym sneaks so on the grand scale, it immaterial. These shoes held up so well. I ran in the arizona desert the entire time running over jagged rocks and mud and dirt. I didn’t feel any pain from pointy rocks when running over them.My only gripe is where the bottom rubber tread meets the front of the shoe, it is separating. I would’ve imagined this happening at about 100 miles.Tie box is perfect. These shows run large so I had to order a half size smaller than my normal shoes for the right fit. I am a 50yr old Chiro woth 20+ years of experience. I can tell you that this shoe is great for those who want a roomy and flexible shoe that also protects and supports. If you want super minimalist then go with the Merrell Vapors. I think the support in these shoes are good for most people. There are so many people with arch issues related to poor biomechanics from living the modern life. These shoes have just enough support to guide your stance and gait into an optimal position. I understand why Merrell did this. Shoes won't fix all your foot problems. Plus the average person does not have the time, patience and comprehension to deal with their dysfunctional gait patterns in a "bare-foot" shoe. These have plenty of toe box width for the average foot but probably not for hobbit feet. I would size up and then tighten the heel cup if this is you. The zero drop feature is weird at 1st but I think it's important to gradually get used to any new shoe by wearing it sparingly at 1st.
