Absolutely brilliant! I have ME/CFS and I am very weak with little strength in my hands and I get exhausted very quickly.. I assembled the cleaner on a table. Very easy and straight forward to do. The actually cleaning box is much smaller than my ancient second hand Bissell cleaner which still works very well (and better than a vac too) and is very light even with the handle attached. It cleans like a dream, much much better than my vac. I alternated one hand to another to distribute the strain on my hand, wrist and arm that one experiences with repetitive actions and it was SO easy and light to push. I cleaned my two bed bungalow within about 10 mins! I could never do that with my vac. It did not tire me out at all. It picked up EVERYTHING. No bending to pick up bits like I do with my vac. This cleaner will replace my vac for regular use. It slides under chairs easily. Because it is so light there is no exertion or strain in lifting the cleaner to empty, which is straight forward and easy. Even my smaller 'light' vac can be quite tiring to empty and fiddly too and it never picks up stuff very well. This is fantastic value for money and a great cleaner. It is a joy to use. Also there is no noise which is a bonus too. You don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbours. All of my carpets are over 18 years old. Not thick pile which is only fair to mention. This light cleaner now enables me to sweep my carpets more regularly which can only be a good thing and it cheers my spirits not seeling 'loads of bits' on the carpet which the vac has not picked up and which I am unable to pick up due to exhaustion. 10/10 Bissell

So glad I found this ! As a busy mum with young children who hate the noise of the hoover and can never get anything done this is a no brainer. I bought this with the intention of being able to do a quick tidy up when the children are asleep without waking them or the downstairs neighbours and although not completely silent its very quiet, picks up a lot and the children think it's magic and always want to use it. Works much better on carpet than hard flooring but does still work well. Its very sturdy and can withstand being rammed into furniture by a toddler, free standing and slides under furniture too. I do wish there was a tool to clear the hair off the main brush though but that's the only downside really! I would recommend for those who want a quick, quiet, back and energy saving option to tidy up the floor in-between hoovering you'll be surprised how much it picks up!

I bought this as I have MS and sometimes struggle to use our Shark hoover due to the weight. The Bissell is incredibly light but really effective. Owning a Jack Russell who's life's ambition seems to be to shed on every surface in the house, this sweeper is a lifesaver as it's very effective in picking up dog hair from the carpet. I was really surprised just how much it picked up - hair, fluff, scraps of paper etc. Obviously it won't suck up dust from deep down in the carpet, but for a quick daily clean it leaves the carpet looking spotless, and even leaves sweep lines in the pile! The sweeper unit itself feels well put together and solid. The only downside is the quality of the handle - it's four metal poles which screw together, but within two weeks the threads had stripped just from using the sweeper. Easily solved with some teflon tape, but it really should be designed better. Apart from the handle, really pleased with the performance of the sweeper.

Bought this for my daughter as I already have one and find it SO useful. It takes up very little space, it's easy to empty and although it won't do a deep clean, it picks up most surface debris on both hard & carpeted floors. Easy to assemble from the box and very light to push around or to carry up/down stairs.

Small, cheap and good kit for the price; five minute simple assembly. Lifts bits effectively on carpets but much less well on uncarpeted floors. And on carpets, brisk use leaves noticeable sweep marks; so no substitute for a vacuum if you need a neat finish.

Wow! What a super little sweeper. Works well on rugs and carpet. Does work on laminate but not quite as affective. Bought for in our touring caravan, as lack of space for a vacuum, and am amazed at how much it picks up. Even dog hairs are easily swept away. I like the underside being metal as is more robust. Simple to empty into a bin. Took about 3 minutes to screw the handle parts together and was good to go. Considering one for home aswell for quick clear ups!

This is great to grab, when you are busy and the family have put crumbs all over the floor from doing toast and sandwhiches near the toaster and cutting board and just leave it and it starts to spread, I find it will pick up bits from laminate flooring, short pile carpet and rugs, it will pickup hairs, crumbs, bits of short grass, dirt etc.... it is great as an interim quick tidy when you don;t have time to get the hoover out and to a proper hoover. The main reason I bought it was because one winter I had really really bad sinuses, and to keep bending down with the brush and dustpan to get crumbs up several times a day was making the sinuses and headaches worse, so I got the sweeper so that I would not have to bend down, it works well for the price. I find as long as you keep the rotating brush clean, I use an old dog "slicker" brush. I like this little sweeper so much I got another a few months later so I have one spare. I basically chose this one because it was cheap, but it really surprised me how good it was for the price. I am sure there will be better ones out there if you pay more, but it you don;t want to spend a lot of money and have a hoover too, this works great for inbetween cleans, if you keep the brush debris free. The brush does some out for washing too.

I wouldn't rave about it quite to the extent other have, but this is really good value for money. It's light, easy to assemble, within 15 minutes of it arriving I'd put it together, whipped around the hall, the kitchen, bathroom and a bit of the living room. If I'd having been pulling out the vacuum to do the same job it probably would have taken twice as long. I think it picks up better on hard floors than carpet. Yes it is a bit flimsy and dinky, but what do you expect for the price. It does what I need it to do, which is mainly pick up the grass cuttings and vegetation that are constantly being walked into the hallway and through the kitchen door. As well as pick up all the chest hairs from the bathroom which the other half seems to shed like snow! I think it's worth the money, getting the vacuum out just to hoover the hall is a pain, it's heavy and cumbersome and takes forever to unwind the cord and wind it back again when I'm finished. This is light, no cord, no batteries to charge, no lecy to burn and it does a good enough job for quick clean ups.
