Ateco 12pc Stainless Steel Flower & Leaf Cutter Set

So, I did the read the description, but I am a visual person. When I received these, they are way smaller than I thought. Even the large ones are tiny. They looked very sturdy and the container they came in looked nice for easy storage. I returned these, which was a very simple process. Didn't open or use. But the packaging was great and fast shipping. I would recommend for people who was super tiny bite size cookies.

These are awesome cutters for my polymer clay projects. I searched everywhere in my city and I could get only a few for the price of these. There are so many sizes to choose from. They are very well made so almost no reminants of clay left on them after use..if any. They are nested in their own storage tin which so convenient. TOTALLY worth what I paid...which was very reasonable already. Defiantly recommend these for clay cutters. Would assume they would perform just as well for marzipan.

I have many plunger cutters but these still come in handy. It's a great set for all those weird shapes including the latest trend in banner flags on cakes. I love the graduated sizes to maximize the usage of this set. Ateco always does a great job of housing their cutters in a convenient metal storage container. When time is of the essence and you need the right cutter, this may be the perfect set for you. Ateco quality in a large set of graduated cutters.

Smaller than I thought but that’s my fault for not reading more into the sizing when I ordered. I used them in my classroom with play doh to have cutters that would make shapes. They work very well. A little hard to clean since they are so small.

While the picture doesn't really show you how tiny these cutters are.... they were beautiful and effective. I just didn't realize how small they were until I was fishing through the box (with other items in it) and thought "what is this?" and then I realized what it was. Hmm, rather small but they work well for what I had in mind. The largest cutter is less than 2 inches (it's stated in the description but of course I didn't pay attention to that...) It was a little hard to push down on the cutters as they don't have a "comfort edge" so they kind of hurt your fingers when you're punching them through fondant- solution: use my fondant rolling pin to push down on them instead. It was also a little hard to get the cut flower out of the cutter and required some poking and prodding with at tool, powdered sugar didn't help and neither did a little shortening, but I'm a bit of an amateur so suggestions are welcome! I do like the size gradation between the similar flowers, other sets of flower cutters have make strange looking flowers when I layer the next smallest size flower on top of the next size up. These cutters cut flower shapes in a natural size gradation and the cutouts don't look strange or like something is missing when they are placed together. They also have a little more detail than other cutters I've purchased. I like this because I don't need to cut as much detail in as I would have with other cutters. Overall though they are a nice addition to my fondant cutter collection and I will be using them a lot because they make pretty flowers.

These are very good quality cutters. I rarely give a five, this item deserves it. Unlike some I have seen pictures of, they don't have those long slits in the upper corners where they are joined. These are spot welded close to one corner, the corners have only tiny little slits instead of ones going a third of the way down. Packaging is good. I used a sharpie to trace inside each large shape before I took them out to inspect, this will make putting them back easy. I bought these to use as forms for making bezels for my resin castings. They are great! I can't say if they cut food items well, I can say it looks like they will.

I should have paid closer attention to the description cause it did state the size of these animal cookie cutters. These are so SMALL! They are only about 1 1/2 " !!! I am not putting any blame on Amazon, but I ALWAYS read the reviews on everything I buy online, and they post the reviews of other cookie cutters along with the review of these and all I did see was " nice size, 2-3" etc. I will keep them only because it would cost me more to ship them back but they are WAY too small for cookies.

I ordered these thinking they were normal flower sizes, but they aren't. They are fairly tiny. I figured it was too good to be true for the prices because regular and larger sizes cost anywhere from 5-15.00 a piece. They work great if your making small roses. Cut pretty sharp edges on your gumpaste or fondant. I am keeping them because there are small flowers in the world, so I will still use them. So it is a good purchase, but make sure your wanting the small flowers, not the larger ones.
