Good, inexpensive side panniers
My motorbike has big hard panniers - great for touring, but too large for everyday use and just tootling about. I got these small bags for everyday casual use, handy for bits and pieces, such as disc lock and tool kit plus a pair of gloves and lightweight waterproof jacket. Haven't used them in the rain yet, they seem sturdy, well made and most probably waterproof with the rolltop closure. The attachment is a little fiddly and is not quick release when fitted to the pannier bars. I have reinforced the bottom and sides with plastic card to maintain the shape better. I'm happy! A bit disappointed to find they are made in China as the website seemed to indicate manufacture in Scotland.

Absolutely brilliant
Omg! These are so cool. I assume they are made in scotland as i feel that i could dunk them in the bath and the inside would still be dry!!so easy to fit and look great. Well done! If there were more stars i would oblige

Great bags!
Bags are perfect for my Himalayan, shame about the delivery company :( They looked a bit small when I unpacked them but they soon took their proper shape when fully stuffed. The quality of the bags looks excellent with all the seams welded (not sewn). Straps at the back are ok, not a perfect fit (it would be difficult to make straps that fitted every single bike on the market). I added a very thick cable-tie to the back of the bags just to make sure. One think that could be improved upon - the straps holding the bag to the bars are attached to the front of the bag and squeeze the bag. Ordinarily this is not a problem but if you half-fill the bag and tighten the straps up nice and tight then later decide that you want to put more in then you will have to slacken off the straps, put your 'new' stuff in then tighten the straps up. Similarly if you take something out of the bag when the straps are tight then the bag will then be loose unless/until you tighten the straps up. If the straps were fitted to (and clipped back to) the back of the bag then this wouldn't happen. It's not really a problem - just a suggestion on how to make it better. Hint: to prevent this happening and to give your bag a decent shape all of the time - insert a 5litre plastic container (think screen wash or similar) with the top cut off - the bag will hold its shape most of the time then. They should be nice and waterproof considering the quality and the design. If some oik nicked these would I buy them again or go for something dearer? - I'd buy these again without a second thought!

Good bags but weakness in strapping mechanism
Previous reviewers are spot on. The fold back in the strap ends is not necessary and creates an issue removing the bags as the fold does not easily permit the strap to be withdrawn from the strap clip. I had the same issue as previous reviewers. What I did was I carefully cut the thread holding the fold to create a single strap and this worked a treat for me. The bags themselves were good and waterproof, held their shape well, had plenty of capacity and did not move on a 4,500 km trip.

Great extra bike storage
Great front panniers used on a recent 4 week bike tour and are really handy I fitted mine to sw motec crash bars on a Transalp. I used them for chain oil, locks, spare engine oil, puncture repair kit and coolant. Excellent only gripe is as others have pointed out the straps Don’t easily go through the holders, not being great at sewing I cut the folded over ends off on one side and then glued the tips to stop them fraying which is working fine for me.

Good Value 100% waterproof.
Fantastic well priced bags, 100% waterproof, been through torrential rain with then.. bone dry, plenty of room to store 2 sets of waterproofs in.. Fitted to 1250GSA top crash bars , just be wary.. they do mark the silver side panels on the GSA.. so protect then with some helicopter take or similar.

Lomo Dry Bags for crash bars. Brilliant!
There are some cheaper dry bags around in gaudy colours but these are fantastic! Attached to Hepco &Becker crash bars perfectly and look the nuts. Keiss heated gillet in one and Dainese thermal inner and gloves in the other with plenty of space left. My pal runs these on his Africa Twin and stuffs them with old rags so on the off chance he drops the bike, a £20 bag takes the hit rather than having to touch up scratches to engine bars. Waterproof and just really well thought out bags that I can’t recommend enough! 🙂

Perfect sized bags for adding some extra space to your bike. Might need some fiddling to find the best way to attach them to the crash bars
