Tamiya 58664 1/10 RC Ford Mustang GT4 Race Car Kit, with TT-02 Chassis

I have to say I kinda impulse bought this but I am very, very happy that I did. I have not put together an RC car since I was a kid and so it was a little overwhelming at first but once you lay everything out and start building, it just flows. I am really happy with how it ended up, although I do have some minor bits to finish and some touch ups to do the body and wheels. For the price I think it’s a great starter to get into the RC car build world and there are a ton of upgrades you can do to swap out plastic parts. Just be weary that it does not come with a servo, battery or receiver and controller and you can easily spend more than the car on those things, I had done my research so it was not a surprise. My one negative about the build is the screws, there are so many different shapes and sizes and the guide is not the best at explaining which screw to use (some are so similar), so you kind of go off instinct and for me it seemed to work out. Brilliant little kit for the price!

First off well get the only negative out of the way. Tamiya please just put the bearing sets in your Kits!! So yeh order the bearing set at the same time it not much more and well worth it in the beginning. This is a kit you build , similar to a plastic model but with screws. I advise using a serving tray or somthing with a lip to keep screws and stuff from escaping. The surprise , comes with 540 brushed and a speed controll that you can use with a mild brushless motor. Plenty of hop up parts for the chassis. The body is super detailed, take your time masking and you can have awsome looking car. Parts not in the kit, raido and recever , servo. Paint and glue. Custom parts used in build , aluminum wheels 1.9x1 , tires, aluminum hub adapter brakes disk, aluminum magnetic body mounts. Paint used was tamiya brand. Have an awsome time building.

Easy to build kit RC car, just follow the instructions. Customized it to mirror my actual 2015 Mustang GT!

This is a fun and easy to build kit. The TT02 Chassis is wonderful. Lots of upgrades and mods. This is a great entry level kit that can really grow with you and your budget. Also if you break anything stock parts are super cheap and pretty easy to find. I will say, pick the body you like. New bodies are almost always half the cost of this kit or more plus shipping.

This was a bad kit. The brand new plastic Chassis had rotted and became extremely brittle. Everytime I put a screw in the Chassis, that part of the chassis crumbled. I've put together a dozen Tamiya kits and this is the first time I've ever had a problem like this. Bad Kit, don't waste Ur time with it.

I really enjoyed putting this kit together. The instructions were kind of scary at first glance but once you understand them, they are very easy to understand. Can’t wait to do another

Superbe carrosserie à peindre. Le moteur à charbon et le contrôleur sont fournis. Il manque la batterie, le récepteur et la radio. Par contre, je n'ai pas du tout apprécié de recevoir le carton sans aucune protection ! J'ai reçu un emballage abîmé dans les coins, j'ai failli faire un retour car j'aime bien acheter un produit parfait! J'ai payé pour cela.
