Works and is within brand if you have a OKI joes smoker
Purchased to fit in my OKI Joe offset to give a second temp gauge. Fits and works as it should. Heavily priced for what the device is if I am honest, but I wanted OKI Joes version as the restaurant itself has a piece of my life in its history. I know the OKI joes smokers are not made by Joe’s anymore but it was a nostalgia thing for me.

This Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ pit and smoker replacement thermometer is the real deal. I had tried two different brands before finding this and it is clearly superior in every respect. Since it is made by Oklahoma Joe, it has the correct size larger threads so it screwed directly into the door of my Longhorn BBQ Pit and it works great so far. I had tried two other brands of thermometers and one filled with water from condensation so badly that I couldn’t read the temperature and the second one was not accurate. If you want to make serious BBQ, you need to be able to monitor your temperature accurately and this does the job very well. If I ever need to replace the thermometer again I will buy this exact same thermometer again. It’s clearly labeled so even inexperienced folks can either smoke, BBQ or grill with the correct temperature range needed to get ’er done.
