Having used this daily now for over 2 months I can say that I am very happy with my purchase. At the time of purchase I paid £300 for the Amp, got a very good deal. The Amp as a wealth of features and inputs. I purchased this AV Amp because it has 2 separate HDMI Outputs (In Addition to 6x HDMI Inputs), so I can output signal to my TV and Projector making switching between them very easy. All the connected devices work great (TV Projector, Xbox, Satellite Receiver. Connection was seamless and all worked with CEC . Sound : powered my speakers flawlessly, The amp can output 160w power per speaker, I currently have a 5.1.2 setup utilising the ATMOS sound and it works great. Amp has wifi and Ethernet, with some built in Apps (Amazon Music, Spottily, Deezer, Tidal, Tune in and internet radio ) I have amazon music and have been using this service, HD Music is supported well but not UHD but I cant tell the difference between the 2 anyway! Remote is ok, but would of liked more control with it. There is no numeric keys so if you need to enter numbers it can be a bit of a pain. Have not tried the Pioneer app yet but I will get around to it eventually. The Amp hardly produces any heat, so less wear and tear due to heat damage. Had an update to the Amp which added HDCP2.3 and DTS Neural:X support so that was great.. Not sure how well Pioneer will support this AMP once it gets replaced with a newer model. Pros: 6 HDMI Inputs 7 channels, 170 Watt each HDCP 2.3 7.1 or 5.1.2 Speaker support Internet Radio FM/AM Tuner CEC HDMI Bluetooth 2 HDMI Output Cons: Limited remote controls Weak built in software Complex to set up correctly Superb amp for the money and would highly recommend.

What a unit. Great sound from every source. Great 4k upscaling of Blurays. Fantastic sound option. I have this plugged into a 5.1.2 setup and the atmos is rockin the room. I didnt use the onboard calibration as it was a little off on its measurement and you cannot alter them with the mode turned on. Entered my own and the sound is great. Good customisation of HDMI inputs. Has a 3.5 line in. So many dont these days. Works great with an echo input as a result. Works with Tune in and spotify too. Update out of box installed DTSX and HDCP 2.3. Cec allows any remote to change volume. Runs cool so will last a while over Denon and others. For the price I cant find fault at all. Great starter Amp for Home Cinema. Also works in a 5.1 set up as has Virtual DTS and Dolby Atmos too. Recommended.

Configuration set up is pretty easy; usefriendly remote control. Sound is great on my speaker but having challenges to set up ARC connexion with tv despite the fact that I've connected in the right ARC HDMI entry. Still have my brand new Pioneer VSX 818 k and not quite sure which one gives me the better sound. Also when I connect my Numark turntable to phono, get to sound only on the right speaker and nothing else. That's for me one of the doznside encountered with this system.

Lovely sound and good 4k images, worked perfectly straight out of the box, simple to set-up, I'm very happy with it. Had Pioneer equipment many years before which was very impressive and this has all those good attributes too.

Excellent sound, the remote control is a bit all over the place, Shame you have to buy extra equipment to connect to Sonos but apart from that great product.

Also als erstes muss ich sagen das dieser Receiver das beste ist was ich bis jetzt hatte. Ja ich hab sehr lange gesucht, gelesen und Überlegt. Schade ist nur das man im Handel so gut wie keine Receiver mehr findet, somit muss man selbst herausfinden ob es für einen das richtige ist oder nicht. Aber die Einrichtung, der Klang und die Bedienung vortrefflich und für die alltägliche Verwendung vollkommen ausreichend. Ebenso bietet er in dem Preissegment einen Phonoanschluss der mitunter nur in Hochpreisigen Receivern zu finden ist. Auch der Anschluss der Lautsprecher mit Bananenstecker (schwer zu finden) ist kein Problem. Der Klang ist besser als von meinen vorhergehenden Receiver von Marantz den SR5011. Muss dazu Sagen das ich Standboxen von Teufel in Verbindung mit einem 5.1 Surroundsystem verwende. Von meiner Seite kann ich das Gerät mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen, weil es einfach einfach ist.

For thos who know Avr and there setup its awesome. It delivers great output only when you setup with right speakers.

Acquistato da Amazon, arrivato in imballo originale Pioneer. Avrei gradito un ulteriore imballaggio esterno a protezione dell'originale, comunque al suo interno l'amplificatore è ben protetto dai pannelli in polistirolo ed è difficile subisca infortuni durante il trasporto. Amplificatore eccezionale! Qualità audio indiscutibile. L'ho abbinato ad un sistema di diffusione completo JBL Arena 7.1. Attraverso il semplice Setup del primo avvio, ho collegato l'amplificatore in rete Wifi, aggiornato il firmware e calibrato MCACC con il microfono fornito in dotazione. Menù principale ben illustrato con icone colorate, fluido ed intuitivo. 3 comodi tasti Preset numerati 1-2-3 presenti sul telecomando consentono di memorizzare liberamente le impostazioni d'uso preferite per 3 differenti "situazioni" di utilizzo, consentendo di passare alla pressione di ognuno di essi alle relative impostazioni che si è scelto di memorizzare. Esempio: - Tasto Preset 1: sorgente BD Player con audio Dolby Digital 7.1 e volume a 17.00 dB - Tasto Preset 2: sorgente NET (Spotify Connect) con audio Ext. Stereo e volume 20.00 dB - Tasto Preset 3: sorgente TV con audio Stereo e volume 15.00 dB Apprezzo molto e faccio ampiamente uso della possibilità di riprodurre musica con Spotify Connect: essendo l'amplificatore collegato in rete internet, questo servizio consente di riprodurre musica sull'amplificatore dal noto servizio di streaming musicale, utilizzando il proprio smartphone, tablet o PC all'interno della medesima rete LAN come "telecomando". E' possibile in qualsiasi momento, anche ad amplificatore spento, avviare dal proprio dispositivo la riproduzione audio sull'amplificatore. Con AirPlay è inoltre possibile eseguire lo streaming dell'audio del proprio iPhone o iPad sull'amplificatore, quindi per esempio, avviare la riproduzione della musica memorizzata localmente sul proprio dispositivo. La medesima funzione di streaming è disponibile anche con collegamento diretto Bluetooth: ho provato con successo a collegarvi un Google Home Mini per gestire con la voce la riproduzione musicale. Difetti ad oggi riscontrati: - Nessun manuale di istruzioni fornito a corredo (è disponibile online) - Ad apparecchio acceso, avvicinandovi l'orecchio, si sente un leggero "Bzzz" (rumore elettrico). SOLO ad apparecchio acceso. - Ad apparecchio spento, rimane acceso un LED rosso di "Standby" sul frontalino, in quanto l'amplificatore non si spegne completamente; avrei gradito la possibilità di escludere/spegnere il LED nelle Impostazioni. - IL DIFETTO PIÙ RILEVANTE: molto spesso purtroppo, l'amplificatore perde la connessione Wifi, non riuscendo più a riconnettersi in rete in autonomia; questo avviene anche ad apparecchio spento. Improvvisamente sparisce dalla rete locale non risultando più individuabile dagli altri dispositivi in rete e quindi rendendo impossibile avviarvi riproduzioni tramite AirPlay o Spotify Connect. Per ripristinarne il funzionamento della rete Wifi, devo scollegare il dispositivo dalla corrente elettrica e ricollegarlo; spegnere e riaccendere l'apparecchio o riconnetterlo manualmente dalle Impostazioni non è sufficiente. Forse trattasi di un problema che (mi auguro) verrà corretto da Pioneer con i futuri aggiornamenti firmware.

Como, en general, todos los productos de Pioneer, es de gran calidad. Vengo de usar amplificadores de Marantz y Sony, pero me quedo, con diferencia, con este Pioneer. A tener en cuenta para evitar sustos (y esto ocurre con cualquier marca): la característica ARC-CEC puede dar problemas, como no tiene un standard claro definido, puede provocar funcionamientos erráticos. Por lo que si conectáis vuestra tv a un amplificador por el canal HDMI ARC-CEC y tenéis otros equipos como reproductor de blueray, procurad que esta funcionalidad esté solo activa en la tv.
