good pastime
I brought this as a hostess gift when visiting my sister and her kids and grandkids. We used it with two adults and an eight year old and had fun. It would be even better with more people playing. the "facts" on the reverse side of each card were interesting, though the 8-year old often questioned the connection between the question on one side and the facts on the other.

We love this!
My wife and I have two young kids (both under 8) and I must say our family LOVES this game! We keep it at the dinner table and it not only encourages our kids to want to eat dinner together at the table, but engages them in purposeful conversation. This is our second version of Table Topics. Our kids loved the first one so much that we had to set a limit of four cards per night on the new one because of how fast we burned through the first one. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a way to encourage fun and meaningful discussion!

Great icebreaker
Great icebreaker and so much fun to see where the conversation ends up. Two thumbs up!

Cards are good, container is lousy.
Nice set of questions, my issue is there should be a better container to hold the cards, since the cards keep falling out when i open. A better container to hold the cards would be appreciated,

Love it!
We received this game about two weeks ago and I am so glad we ordered it. Our son has HFA/AS and sometimes at dinner we are either all worn out or have no clue what to talk about. My son didn't really enjoy dinner with the family, but now loves grabbing a card to talk about a new topic. It is helping us as a family and no doubt helping my son, who still takes speech therapy at age 13, to improve his speech and expand his interests.

Great for cultivating table conversation
We have gifted this set many times and it's always a hit! It's a great way to shape your table conversation around fun memories and really helps you to get to know the people around the table without you being the "asker" of questions. Great for all ages and the packaging is sleek and easy to keep on the table ready to start a convo!

A good purchase to make meal times more interesting
My 15 and 12 year-old daughters, who both do well academically and socially, love the Tabletopics for Family and Teen during meal times. It gives them the chance to "toot their horn" about their opinions on numerous topics. And some of their answers are hilarious and discuss some of the questions at school. Either Tabletopics would be good for my family but I chose both to get a mix of questions. This is not for you if you don't want to learn more about your children or help build their self-esteem. We used these while waiting for service and food in restaurants. They kept the kids focused and interested. And we all learned a few things about one another. I may buy other topics to keep it fresh.
