I use these to exercise outdoors.
I lift weights outside. I get in and out of the pool to keep cool. Therefore, I don't want a heavy wet swim suit on while I am heavy squatting. I have a 32/33 inch waist and this "one size fits all" fits me fine and should be OK for a few inches up or down in size. Very narrow pouch & appears to be well made.
