Excellent go kart, my 4 year old loves it and has just peddled it about 2 miles on a family walk. It’s well built, but not much grease on the wheel spindles or any moving joints, I’d advise using some when building it out the box to keep it rolling freely, no brakes either so stopping is by locking up the peddles, he seems to have the hang of that though. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth the extra money, feels like it’s made to last.

You get what you pay for and having looked at hundreds of go carts and pedal cars I chose this one. It is made if good quality materials that go together really well. This is a quality product compared to most available .

My granddaughter loves the go cart. It's sturdy, well designed, and will bring hours of pleasure to a five year old. It was fairly straight forward to assemble even for her grandfather.

Little lad loves it, he's 4, doubt it'll do him till he's 6 but should get a decent year out of it... Decent little go kart and easy for him to peddle

I build everything at home and this was a tough build esp for Santa to take all the credit for it lol. I thought this kart was 5 Star but then I realised that it doesn't have breaks especially for going down hills😳 I became livid esp for the price of the kart. I have no other choice to give this a 1 star as I have to watch my son like a hawk when he's on it. Unless i'm missing something or until berg can fix this other ways the review will have to stay put.

It is a robust and sturdy toy. However it is very heavy and bulky. So we won’t be taking it far in case toddler abandons it. It would benefit from an option to install a push handle and front wheels lock. You can detach the seat and wheels but this doesn’t resolve the problem above. This is the only downfall therefore 3 stars from us.

Broke within hours of use

Pensato bene e costruito meglio. Arriva disassemblato in una scatola confezionata con attenzione. Il montaggio, per chi è un pò pratico di bricolage, non è complicato, forse l'unica pecca sono gli strumentini (chiavi a brugola e inglese) non di buona qualità... ma è una mia pignoleria, forse in casa avrete sicuramente di meglio, ma anche con quegli affarini riuscirete a montare questo Go-Kart a pedali che ha il pregio di avere tutto il telaio di acciaio verniciato a polvere. Attenzione solo alle poche plastiche che hanno degli incastri da non forzare con violenza. Per montare il volante sul tubo dello sterzo che comanda l'asse oscillante delle ruote ho utilizzato qualche goccia di Svitoil per infilarlo perché il buco del volante è molto (troppo!) stretto per motivi di sicurezza, per cui con Svitoil ho evitato di forzarlo. Tutta l'auto viene tenuta insieme da bulloni e dadi di sicurezza di buona qualità ed il sedile -che ha quattro posizioni- è tenuto in sede da un bullone bello generoso. Insomma, una volta assemblato è un buon giocattolo, sicuro, colorato, bello e vistoso che ha fatto la felicità del mio nipotino di 28 mesi che ha subito preso le misure per girare i pedali e sterzare. Il giocattolo è grandicello, ed in casa dà un pò fastidio, è largo e le ruote di plastica speciale riempite di EVA (https://globalbaby.co.nz/pages/whats-the-difference-between-air-tyres-and-eva) attenuano gli eventuali urti contro i mobili. Al volante ci sono quattro suoni diversi: accensione del motore, partenza con sgommata, frenata e clacson... E' molto positivo per genitori e nonni che vogliono regalarlo, che con la sua misura, il suo peso (circa 10 Kg) ed il baricentro così basso... possono stare tranquilli che anche il più discolo dei bimbi non riuscirà mai a ribaltarlo in movimento, quindi niente cadute neanche su terreno sconnesso. Secondo me è da preferire alle banali auto elettriche leggere e tutte di plastica, perché consente davvero ai bimbi fino a 5 anni di fare un sano moto per rinforzare le gambe.

The steering wheel every two turns becomes extremely hard to turn, and to make it loose we have to turn the opposite direction. The kid is very upset with this as it started to happen. It was working well for the past month. Is anyone aware of such issue and possible solution? The issue seem from the hook and bar connecting the front wheels. A failure for the steering mechanism, and this must be improved.

Unser Enkel bekam das Gokart zu seinem 5. Geburtstag. Er ist normal groß und er wird sicherlich noch ein bis zwei Jahre damit fahren können. Wenn man den Sitz (mit einer großen Schraube im Sitz) verstellt, kann auch sein knapp dreijähriger Bruder problemlos damit fahren. Der Zusammenbau verläuft ebenfalls problemlos, wenn man zu zweit ist und keine zwei linken Hände hat. Besonders angenehm fällt der sehr enge Wendekreis auf; dazu auch die Leichtgängigkeit und die Tatsache, dass auch der Dreijährige kein Problem mit dem Treten hat, eben weil es so leicht läuft. Ein paar Tropfen Öl an den passenden Stellen nach vollendetem Zusammenbau tun gut und damit verschwindet auch erstes Quietschen. Weitere Pluspunkte sind die direkte Übersetzung der Pedale - kein Freilauf - und damit auch die Möglichkeit, rückwärts zu treten und zu fahren - für kleine Kinder wesentlich einfacher als ein Freilauf mit Rücktrittbremse wie beim Fahrrad. So hört man einfach auf zu Treten oder tritt sogar in die Gegenrichtung und das Ding steht. Noch ein Pluspunkt sind die nicht luftbereiften, sondern mit Vollmaterial belegten Räder, die somit schon nicht plattgefahren werden können und doch auch gut im Gelände laufen. Und wenn Papa oder Opa das Ding mal wegtragen müssen, ist das Ganze sehr leicht zu handhaben. Auch im Hinblick auf die Sicherheit - bei halbwegs normalem Fahren ist vermutlich kein Umkippen möglich, außer der kleine Rennfahrer rumpelt ganz massiv an einen Randstein, aber dann mit Wucht und voller Absicht, und selbst da kippt es wahrscheinlich nicht gleich) macht es einen sehr guten Eindruck. Also insgesamt ein sehr guter Kauf und sehr empfehlenswert. Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu anderen Gokarts mit derselben Ausrüstung nicht gerade geschenkt, aber dann doch in Ordnung.
