Terrific for my needs. I've tried so many products in different price ranges, but VO5 does the trick. Just use a dab on your fingers, work through your hair, and the result for me is magic. The result is soft and manageable hair with a wonderful shine. So non greasy is you use just a dab! I'm so glad I ordered this.

For years I was teased about V05 being “old school.” Cannot go without it! After giving both the gold and silver tubes to my hairdresser she proclaimed it “a miracle in a tube!” It keeps hair conditioned without weight and prevents knots.

I have been using VO5 for many years. Great Product. Packaging has changed, looks similar, but not the same. Paying more for less.

I've been buying this product for years. I like the hold it gives my hair without making it stiff. Depending on when it was made, there could be a difference in the product. I've had some tubes that are almost watery, and then this most recent purchase is very thick. It might be older. Anyway, I still like it and will continue to use it. This 3-pack that was my most recent purchase was packed well- the three boxes were held together with a rubber band, then shrink-wrapped for added security.

I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I'm in the midst of transitioning my hair from dying it for around 20 years to growing my natural gray, but I did it through gray blending at the salon. My hair can go wavy/curly with a wavy routine, but it has been hit or miss. Sometimes it can look great, next day it looks completely awful, the next day I wash it and follow the same steps and get opposite results... so most days I heat style it. Well... enter this one-product miracle. I apply it in the shower, a small amount (even though I have a ton of hair). Sometimes I add a touch of gel, and since I have a lot of hair I do diffuse it or else my hair would be wet for days. This product gives me shiny, bouncy, beautiful waves that look great every time. Since I'm working with highlights and using a purple shampoo to make them "gray", I'm not sure the purple tint in this product is doing much of a difference, but maybe it is helping - I'm not sure as I have to use purple shampoo with every wash so I haven't tested this alone.

Perfect for dry hair. It helps hold the curl.

I have used Alberto VO5 for years, I have not found a better product on the market. It does wonders for hair that is dry and listless. After applying a very small amount you will notice a sheen in your hair that wasn't there before, not to mention soft and more manageable.

I noticed a distinct improvement in my hair after the first treatment. After the second treatment my hair felt a little oily so I think I did not get it all rinsed out. Next time I might use a little shampoo to make sure I get it all rinsed out. I am happy with it.

I really like this product. Has a wonderful smell and makes my grey hair look bright and shiny. All you need is a very small amount.
